Feedback Technical Grievances

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
Seems to be failing now even on small size videos, but images work fine. No big deal though it is giving more page cannot be displayed errors today so may be related.

Actually when i hit post the small video it told me did not attach was there.

Tried to "Insert Video" 34MB on the .pl domain.

The Network tab in developer tools is just reporting "failed" with no response from the server being reported.

yeah I'm really not sure, it's something about nginx reverse proxying incorrectly. I've tried changing a few things without any success.

this is 100mb, i fixed it. had to change a ton of shit.

it did seem to attach the file twice? So let me know if you see that issue yourself where attachments get added twice.

Attached 3 times for me. But it had failed 2x before to attach before you ran the fix. Could it possibly be the failed ones?

Rather have to delete some extras then not have it attach.

Mine correctly only attached once using the "Insert Video" button instead of the "Attach files" button. Looks good.

There's no option to change the style of the site while using the .PL address. I was using the Communist Kiwi Farms style since .net was active and it appeared that way here on the .PL address. I decided to change back to the default style and that's the only option I can currently see (I'm using mobile at the moment).

Styles/embedded elements not loading

It has resolved itself.

Sorry if this was posted before, so when I login the 2FA(two factor authentication) page will not load on kiwifarms.pl. At first it was only for mobile now it happens on PC, although it loads fine on Tor. I disabled 2FA and I can login fine now. As far as I'm aware of nothing has changed with my Internet connection, I also tried with and without a VPN as well, not really that would make a difference anyway.

I've made a change to try and reduce half-loaded pages.

There's some weird bug with XenForo where you have to login, 2fa, login again, then it works. I don't know why.

Feels like the incidence of half-loaded pages has increased for me.

CTRL+F5 on a desktop browser or going into your mobile web browser's settings and deleting all of kiwifarms.pl's data seems to resolve the problem. I would assume the DDoS attack is still happening because I get half-loaded pages whenever I open up too many new tabs or pages at once (i.e. I want to open up different links from a thread OP to read later). Waiting a good 5–10 seconds before opening another Kiwi Farms page or tab seems to be an effective precautionary measure.

I'm not receiving emails for 2FA on Tor and I'm out of backup codes. I've never been able to login on .pl no matter how many times I try in succession.

Using Brave on desktop.

I received a lot of old DM chain notifications (they weren't coming for a few days and then arrived in one big bath) but no 2FA e-mails. The problem appeared today. It would appear that e-mail server is stuck or processing some backlog.
If you have access to your account you can generate a new set of backup codes.
