Feedback Technical Grievances

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.
This looks concerning.
Clearnet crapped out.
TOR fine.

Same result for me.

.st and .net are down. Both work over TOR.

Since sometime later in the day yesterday (U.S.), .net and .st stopped working for me. I tried the .onion today using the Tor browser and it is timing out. However, both .net and .st are working fine over Tor.

East Coast American here. .NET and .ST aren't connecting for me at all. TOR, as always, is working just fine. As another user mentioned .NET and .ST work fine over TOR, I don't use a VPN on my other browser which is probably why I can't connect on clearnet. This certainly feels like a targeted attack since its happening just before Null is going to stream.

.net and .st seems to be blocked by both of my shitty ISPs in my shithole country since I can only access both sites by using a VPN set on the US.

Does anybody has the terminal command and tools to confirm this block? I'm going to yell at my ISPs and I want to have as much evidence of the block as I can.

EDIT: Or like the above poster said, it could be the upstreams. Which seems the most likely culprit right now.
Even if it is an upstream, yell at your provider as they may be paying for that service.

North East US no issues on either domain at all. I do think we have been being ddosed at times though. Tried this through 3 isps. Also had no issues earlier today on a connection through starlink.

Telus' fiber in British Columbia works intermittently. I've had some load fails. I've had more load successes. Seems to stochastically represent the state of the American tubes, though I have no theory as to how that might be, technically.

I'm not even sure who I'm supposed to be calling to complain to. I can connect via certain countries over VPN. This is really weird. This whole thing is absolutely bizarre. They could literally just tell Elliot to fuck off, it's not like they'd have to defy gravity to do that.

My American ISP appears to be blocking .net and .st. It resolves the IP with the ISP's DNS server, but a traceroute stops at the ISP. I'll PM screenshots if you want them. Not sure how helpful it would be to diagnose the problem though, since it's impossible to tell whether it's the ISP or an upstream. It dies on the first hop.

.net and .st failing to connect from down undah, nothing but "Page could not be loaded", Tor is okay
Saw a rumble commenter and MATI chatter saying it was fine for them in AU.

You need IPv6 to access kiwifarms m8 or if you're a macchad you can use private relay. Now's a great time to send an email to your ISP demanding that they get off their arse and implement v6.

I already sent an email to iPrimus and vodafone.

I can access on my computer but not my phone.

Edit: I can access the site on my phone again. Possible random fuckery.

My computer (Southeast US) is going between "Page could not be loaded" and having access on .net, .st, and Tor.
