At this point I should just custom code a browser extension to constantly check my posts for new stickers and then have it send me desktop notifications

Google is constantly trying to fuck with sites that leech videos off of the YouTube platform. The trouble is that Invidious has so many instances, it is kind of a coin-toss as to which ones are not being tampered with by Google and which ones are working, and it changes constantly.

I wish that Piped video embeds were also supported just as extra insurance against Google's fuckery.

Can't it at least be conceded that being reminded of a specific board's existance, that at the moment you don't think is worth following, by someone sticking your posts and in the process reinvigorating some interest in the topic, is both easier and more streamline than a full on quote/mention or follow?

Burn hide or meme the points how you like, but the mentions do have some active value for those who want them and shouldn't be curb stomped like this is 98 again.

Sticker discussion notwithstanding, I ran into a weird issue where the default page for kiwifarms.st took me to the 'reactions received' page, rather than https://kiwifarms.st/forums.

At first, I thought you closed the forum off to people without an account, but that didn't make any sense. After clicking on the 'forums' button on the header I was able to get to the forum list, it took me to https://kiwifarms.st/forums, and all was well. But clicking on the Kiwifarms logo or typing https://kiwifarms.st into my browser takes me to the 'Reactions Received' page, or a logon page if I'm not logged in.

EDIT: I just realized you may have done this as a joke, in which case this is funny as fuck. I'm still getting caught up on the Catler and subsequent KiwiFarms sticker counter removal seething.

I did just see this though, glad to know that my shitposting is @Hitler approved!

Null just replaced the homepage with stickers. I hope this change addresses the complaints!

@Null Don't know if it's worth the effort for a shitpost but if you really wanna drive people up the wall you could repurpose the confetti code and make it so anywhere you click a bunch of random stickers pop up.

I do like this better than the old sidebar minitab

I'm sure you have ideas for it but if you decide to keep it there it'd be nice to be able to choose how many threads we want to show up (I wouldn't mind 10 personally), and maybe be able to pin 1-3 threads to always be at the top of the list even without updates, in case someone wants to jump in to post an update on a cow they actively watch without having to dig through all the threads they're watching
