Not really a technical grievance, but I couldn't find a relevant thread in the first 3 pages of Forum discussion.

I'm traveling and couldn't get KF to load on hotel wifi.

The .st domain just gives a "Page could not load".

Tried the .net eventually to get the firewall notice for the .net domain for "Explicit violence".

Had to use Tor to access KF for the first time in awhile.

I still cannot get past kiwiflare without enabling javascript in my tor browser. Javascript is a problem since it is a potential browser fingerprinting vector and a potential malware vector. You used to allow me to not use javascript by entering an argon2 command in the terminal. Please bring that functionality back. If you do so, I will never ever ever give a reaction to anything on this website ever again. Thank you.

P.S. When you rewrite the forum software in 2025, please make sure it works adequately without enabling javascript.

Null what the Hell was this? Also the site has been having a few slowdowns this past week at least on my end, unsure if its for everyone else too. 1000318902.jpg

Forgive me if this is a stupid question- I just returned to the forum after losing my last account in the 2022 deplatforming/password reset. (throwaway email, decided to touch grass for a bit, etc).

Where is the option to add a subtext below your username? Like the circled text in picrel?

Click on PFP... Account Details... Custom Title... ... Save

When does an account not become considered as brand new? I've noticed that the color of text fades over time, from a very bright pink from new users, to purple, to blue from older accounts, does that have anything to do with it? My account is pushing one year and still can't edit my title.

It could be due to the number of trophy points associated with your account, seeing as there are newer accounts than yours which can edit their user title. What I noticed is the accounts I found which were newer, but had a custom user title all had 75 or more trophy points while your account has only 10 trophy points.

The threshold may be lower than 75, but it does seem to be higher than 10.

I don't know if it is age or if you need to have a few posts that aren't spam/have positive reactions or trophies. I think I didn't get the option for a long time since I didn't have anything to say worth posting.

There is one color per year (there is a CSS class for month but it's unused) AFAIK.
 
Was running into page can't load and 402 errors about an hour ago. Situation seems better now. Not sure if it's a load issue, or entry point, or what.
 
I can only use the like sticker on tor android app. The little pop up menu disappears the moment I lift my finger off the sticker button.

Maybe if a delay timer wouldn't work on tor, then a dedicated sticker window pop up button right next to it.
