When I click on images in the brave browser on the farms the images do not expand. Infact they do not appear at all and the page I'm viewing becomes frozen or unresponse. I have to it F5 on the keyboard to refresh the page to continue reading. Issue does not go away from restarting the browser or the distro I am using.

i had a similar issue earlier today on mobile where images would not expand and i got strange performance issues when trying

it fixed itself when i closed the browser (by double tapping the home button and swiping up on the browser app) and then reopened it

Same issue on Windows with the most recent update of Chrome. (The expanded image is not showing, but we need to press escape, or refresh, to continue normal operation.)

I was having the same issue in Chrome. First, try hitting Ctrl+F5. If that doesn't work --

I noticed when I went to Settings -> About that there was either another version of Chrome that had been released OR that the "relaunch to update Chrome" process had not started even though I relaunched. Once it finished downloading the totally-for-reals newest version and relaunched, I did Ctrl+F5 on a Kiwi Farms page and it started working.

Unfortunately, I hadn't thought to hit Ctrl+F5 before getting into the Chrome settings and updating so it's entirely possible that the version of Chrome is not causal to this incident and was just coincidentally acting weird.

Chrome versions didn't matter, Chrome's caching being ass did. Thanks for reminding me of "refresh harder."

I’ll give it a try and report back. If there is an update it hasn’t hit the repo yet for my distribution and I’ll include it if things improve.

Currently having attachments break. It ends up attaching like this.

The image is completely fine on my computer, but breaks when uploaded to the website. What gives?

Usually Canvas protection settings cause this.

On Firefox I see the image zoom in while rapidly moving below the bottom of the screen, and the page freezes. Pressing Esc unfreezes the page, like it used to close the pic. So I guess there is an issue with where the full image shows up on the screen (way below everything)? And images still work if you have JavaScript off, or open in a new tab.

So I guess there's an issue with where the full image shows up on the screen (way below everything)? BTW, images still work if you have JavaScript off, or open in a new tab.

It is exactly as you describe, but with Brave.

I think you should implement a height limit to sponsored posts. Somehow one sponsored by Margo Martindale that is within the sharty thread featuring a repeated gif of MY CLITTY IS LEAKING basically makes the frontpage unusable if it is chosen due to how long it is.

Is it just me or are some certain JS elements of the site not working anymore? The embedded image viewer doesn't work anymore and some sponsored posts aren't properly formatted so they don't have the link to the actual posts, the sponsored window only displays the post contents but you can't click on it. I'm using a Firefox-based browser with a bunch of extensions, but those haven't interfered with the site in anyway before this, this only started happening like 2 days ago.

Had this yesterday noticed page locks up when I click an image and I have to F5 to scroll or read.

I saw the image appear for a split second on click and head south on my browser before vanishing. Can't find it anywhere not in any alternate tabs or other.
So it seems like its treating the images as open

Flatpack update came in. Same problem.

The image display problem resolved for me in the last short while. I wonder if Dear Leader was working on something? Librewolf working great!

I've had the image display issue for a few days. I use Brave if it helps.
