Feedback Technical Grievances

  • 🔧 At about Midnight EST I am going to completely fuck up the site trying to fix something.

I will certainly check them out
Server Status does not work in LibreWolf where HTML5 canvas image data is blocked by default, however it does look to be better than flagfox
IPvFoo is great if you want to see additional IPs you are connected to when visiting a site and is probably the one i will run with in the future alongside flagfox. It does seem quite buggy though, it cant seem to get a lot of the KF IPs
...
IPvFoo has a few open bugs with Firefox (some already reported). It works only most of the time. On chromium it works better. (but I like Firefox). Both AddOns seem to have some trouble with the way KF does the proxying/anti DDOS.

Ran into a few "This page cannot be loaded" pages yesterday, but a more annoying thing I'm experiencing now is that images may sometimes fail to load on a page. A refresh or two usually solves it, but it seems to be a persistent issue.

Whatever changes have been pushed over the past few days has made it consistently worse for me. Originally it was very intermittent. Now it's nearly unusable as it drops the connection every minute or so. Usually this results in having to clear the cache and refresh, going through the bot detection page each time. I'm getting a "PR_END_OF_FILE" error about half the time instead of timing out. Edit: getting 404s on some tabs but not others now, even when others load fine:

404 comes from this URL being served when attachments load.
This is what the working video should link to.

I was having a problem earlier with the ratings pop up not working in Firefox. Deleted the cookies and site data, logged back in, and everything is working again. The general crappy performance that others have mentioned over the last day also disappeared after I did that. Probably coincidence, but worth a try if you're encountering problems.

edit: Definitely coincidence, but clearing the cookies did fix the missing ratings.

I use NordVPN and connecting to various IPs, Still having issues with things loading and keep running into connection failures after a short time, Either I'm missing something or I need to use a new VPN.

What’s the situation with the Troon squad and the DDOS attacks? Are they still running the same sleep, dilate DDOS schedule?

The site is slow, periodically drops out, and random images aren't loading. Are the trannies attacking again?

It might be the node you're connected to is being under the DDoS or it's just shitty node. It's pretty fast for me (eu)

edit:
I've just got no response page and refreshed it 20 times until it came back to normal

The changes are because of the fucking problems bro, what do you think I'm doing besides trying to figure out the fucking issue
Sorry if it came across bitchy. From the banners and what I was seeing it seemed like things were looking good/much improved on your end. I tried what I knew on mine and when it persisted I figured I would make sure you were aware.

Don't be confused in thinking that the middle nodes doing ddos protection are the same as the public internet entry points.

I have pulled the frontend owned by Hostslick out of rotation. That was in the NL. I am convinced, based on errors I've been seeing, that it's just having networking issues. If you still get errors now, let me know.

I composed a long post with a shitton of links, and when I tried to spoiler it, the whole post was deleted under the spoiler. This happened twice. I wasn't able to retrieve the post.
