Feedback Technical Grievances

I can access The Farms from LTE on my phone but not through my PC or wifi.

Did a tracert and it's hitting my local peers (is that the right word?), then twelve99.net, then lyse.net, then terrahost.no, where it starts timing out.

The node it gets stuck on is 185.125.170.53 AKA distro3-2.dc2.e1-47.k10.terrahost.no

Located in Leafistan, if it makes a difference. I can "talk to staff" a full screenshot if it would help.

That's weird, I get pretty much the exact same thing and it works just fine(if a bit slow). I can't ping it either, but the website is working.

Are you getting a browser error or is it just timing out?

Browser error as well; the one with 3 bullet points... I assume that's what the terrahost server does when it can't find what it's looking for, but I'm only quasi-technical because I'm white and netops is for brown people and trannies and autistic Serbian men with dog avatars.

The one that says "Kiwifarms cannot be reached" or whatever? That's an error from your browser. Terrahost doesn't give that error, it's a small piece of software cached from when you first used the farms. Clear your cache or try a browser you've never used with the farms and you might get a more useful error, but probably a timeout.

Farms is working well here in Aus. Even with our normally-shitty Internet speeds.

Thanks @Null you're a fucking legend!

PR_END_OF_FILE_ERROR seems to be back, altough very intermittently.
Was fine yesterday and days prior.
Using TOR over clearnet.

After having extreme difficulty posting 2 threads on A&N, I think I found the problem: changing the font size.

I tried to make the captions under images size 12, and this would cause infinite 403 errors when posting or editing. When I undid the font size changes, no problem.

Let's see if it works here. Nope, changing the font size also breaks this reply.

I think it fucks with the saved draft feature as well.

Changing size of anything seems to do it. If i resize pictures I cannot post on clear, but it works on tor.

Those should use two different bbcode tags. Maybe it's affecting tags with a space in them, aka complex parameterized tags. Although I have no idea why Tor would be any different.

I can't check if the site is using "size=12" or "style size=12" for text because the toggle BB code button breaks if I have the resized text. :'(

Yep it gives me this error on clear. If i post or hit [], If i try to edit it just completely ignores I've hit save post. Apologies for large image size. I hit thumbnail but it still puts the entire image.

Moved to tor and now I can resize all I please, though thumbnail is still the full image:

The error appears to be on the DDOS stuff:
Code:

I'm not exactly sure where to put this beyond a new thread. How do I save a DM beyond archiving it locally with a page save? Is the star button supposed to lock it in forever?

Edit: Also what's an actually good html grabber? Brave's inbuilt one just nukes the format of the page and saves text.

Wget is my favourite. Mainly for UNIX systems, but there are Windows versions too.

As for how the site is running, this is the best I've seen it in a long time. Working very smoothly for me, on clearnet. Good job Null.
