Feedback Technical Grievances

The site works perfectly and speedily through a VPN to Europe, but in America every other connection seems to be dropped and I get really bizarre browser errors from Safari that I’ve never seen before. Didn’t even realize it was an American issue until I tried the VPN

Is it different VPNs? Mine has been down for a day or so and I use Proton

Apologies if this is a known error and 30 people already posted it, but I didn't see it on the last couple pages.

Once the site came back up, I started getting image issues. Was hoping it would go away but it still happens now and again.

It loads the attachment below the reply box. Image shows up hazy, and the popup appears saying LOADING with a progress bar. It gets to 100%. Then an error occurs that says "Image cannot be loaded from parsed link" or something to that effect and I'm immediately redirected to the Privacy Policy page.

Sometimes if I move fast I can click the attachment below and insert the thumbnail.

What just occured last time was when it failed I switched devices from an Android tablet to Android phone and oddly, my attachment was at the bottom of the thread on the different device with a blank space where the reply box is and the button for Post Reply. I hit it, and my original planned post appeared, with the image and text.

I've seen the forums save a quote in the reply box of a thread when I don't post, but never before save an unfinished post from one device to another.

Also confirming that sometimes the site has been dropping when navigating. I have not been getting much for HaltDOS errors and I've confirmed my host is able to reach the site via routing through terrahost; however, navigating through the site sometimes spurs error pages. When I do get errors, the console returns either HTTP 200 Success or HTTP 500 ISE.

After writing the above, I have noticed stability has seemed to improve since just a couple of minutes ago; I've accessed the various pages numerous times and I haven't been returned any errors or HTTP 500s since 10-15 minutes ago.

Hmm, Asia seems to be a bit out of the loop, though I can get there through a VPN in Thailand. I usually go through a Seattle VPN because it's the fastest where I am, but it stopped working. Switched to Vancouver and that works fine.

Just tried a bunch of west coast servers (Washington, Oregon, and a few in California), they're all giving me headaches with failures to load. Mexico is super fast and no issues. Weird.

Minneapolis stopped working. Tried a couple other USA locations on my VPN, nothing worked. Portugal works, will try another Euro country at random next time.

I’m getting a few errors on the browser level I’ve never had before. A few refreshes seems to fix it but then I get the standard Kiwi Farms error page and HaltDOS error on occasion.

Safari cannot open the page.
The error was:
"FetchEvent.respondWith received an error: Returned response is null.".

Safari cannot open the page because it could not establish a secure connection to the server.

I have to reload over and over till the site finally comes up. Then everything works for a while, then I have to do it all again.

I get sometimes the HaltDOS page and sometimes the "Page could not be loaded" over clearnet. When I access kf.net through Tor, I only see the latter. But it's the same problem.

Try to use a VPN and set your IP to Europe. Estonia works really well for me. No issues

Canadian here and getting the same results. Maybe Dear Leader took that suggestion to block us off after all like the Germans?
Turns out I was behind a VPN from the US and forgot. Still get this error when "in" the US though and refreshing doesn't help.

I've been on a VPN with a U.S. IP address for the last few days and have got only a smattering of these, with one solitary HaltDOS.

Everything on ping.pe is green, with the only significant packet loss being from China Telecom and Saudi Arabia.

I think there's a change to enforce thumbnailing maybe but it's not intuitive. I haven't had the exact same symptoms but I've also had very similar problems which seemed to be due to some filenames not parsing.

However the big issue right now is that it seems to have broken animated gifs. I really need to post a funny one of maskull furiously fisting wry up to the elbow so it's a serious problem

Clearnet become unavailable today. Getting "Page couldn't be loaded" placeholder
edit: console error all the time

I've been getting the "Page could not be loaded" page a lot more frequently, usually when I access the site for the first time in a day. Refreshing resolves the issue for me.
Seconding this. Wasn't sure if my VPN was toying with me until I tried it without and the same issues kept happening. Looks like it's back on for now, at least? Hope it's not an ominous portent.

Very strange - VPN using West Coast of the US gives pretty frequent "Page could not be loaded" errors; East Coast of US seems generally worse. Texas though is being a chad and running smoothly.

Clearnet over tor works fine for me, but neither with or without Mullvad is dead.
