I'm satisfied with my changes. The DDoS attack is ongoing but the guest count is dropping because they're getting clocked as trannies by the ACLs.

Yup, well done, its pretty smooth sailing for me atm, wasnt even possible to browse a few hours ago. Now take a big sip of your favourite brewsky or drink of choice and have a rest and then a happy new year, enough with this disruptive bs on a joyouse occasion. Fuck em, let them seethe.I'm satisfied with my changes. The DDoS attack is ongoing but the guest count is dropping because they're getting clocked as trannies by the ACLs.
I completely reorganized our federated server setup and chat doesn't work with it anymore. I have a way to fix it soon. The site runs good for me but i get the 503 error for the chats. I assumed you disabled those to make the site run fast again. Maybe it is an attack via chat? Or did you fix the issue we had months ago?
All Hail our Glorious God-Emperor, mocker of troons, dilator-breaker of Daily Dilation of Stinkditch (DDOS), the Khalifa and Commander of the Faithful Jersh Moon!I also just put in a last second fix that should reduce the number of errors people were encountering.
I am forced to assume this is a 429 error just via the uploader. If you can find information saying otherwise let me know.Getting "Parsing response failed" when trying to upload image
He could find out for sure with a HAR trace. The Network Trace with Browser portion of this article covers how to do it:I am forced to assume this is a 429 error just via the uploader. If you can find information saying otherwise let me know.
uh, the site's up, pretty sure that's a clue.Amazing work, Josh! Would it be possible to hide Forum Discussion from non-registered viewers so they can be in the blind on the status of their attacks?
If he's using the browser devtools network tab it's not necessary to close any other apps first. In fact it should be pretty easy to see if a 429 response pops up.He could find out for sure with a HAR trace. The Network Trace with Browser portion of this article covers how to do it:
Edit: for a good trace, close all of your other network-using apps, open a new incognito tab, login, open the developer tools, start the trace, replicate the issue causing the error, as soon as you get the error to pop stop the trace.
This is true, HAR trace give more details but the network tab should also show it. Follow the same instructions up to opening the dev tolls, once dev tools are opened just click on the network tab, replicate the issue and you should see the error pop there. The network tab of the devtools would probably be easier and it'd show if there was a 429 response code.
From looking around Xenforo threads about the issue, A staff member on the main Xenforo forum was saying it's Froala Editor related, Unsure if this forum has that plugin or if it uses something else.He could find out for sure with a HAR trace. Idk if this counts as a technical issue 'cause I'm a dinotard but I think it would make more sense to have the 'next highlight' button at the bottom, or at least both? Maybe I'm just lazy but when I'm done reading the page and decide I want to go to the next highlight rather than the next page I have to scroll back up to the top. Idk, just feels weird.
