Feedback Technical Grievances

Site seems to only partially load pages sometimes. Not in the sense that it'll give a perpetual loading sign, but that the tab will say it's fully loaded and yet you won't be able to scroll down past a certain point. Even happened on a post that was quoted by another, loading the page that post was on but cutting it off early before that post appeared. Haven't seen this issue before.

Unless you DM me what is specifically your bookmarked URL I can't diagnose this.
 
A minor phonefag grievance and not a new thing:

Whenever there’s an image posted, and it has detail like text, and it’s a thumbnail, often the scaling and compression means you can’t read it, even by zooming in.
So, naturally you’d click the image and have it load fully. However when you do that, it loads some kind of gallery. There, at least on iOS, zooming and scrolling does not work properly. You can’t see the whole image. It keeps snapping back to the original scale. When trying to move it, you usually end up flipping to the next image instead.
In short, it’s a pain in the ass and near unusable on a phone, which is a shame because you miss out on stuff. I know the right answer is “don’t be on a phone”, but is there any way the gallery can be optional, at least on the mobile version?

Rate me gay retarded and late but I'm having an issue with the messaging feature of this site. I was in a group chat on this site which I still technically am in, but I left at one point and selected "mute future replies" and I would like to unmute this chat and be able to read it again.

Is there a fix for this? Am I just fucked? I need to see the history of this chat because a lot of research went on in there and I need to cross-check. Pwease help my retarded ass.

If it gives any extra incentive to hell me with this, the chat was used to help arrest zoosadist Adam Britton and the history of that chat can prove Kiwi Farms was partially behind it

You can't ever rejoin that conversation. Keep in mind convos which are 30 days since last reply get autodeleted.

The conversation is still alive and apparently it still shows that I am in the chat. But I can't see it. Am I just fucked then? This conversation's a bit important. But at least there are still quite a few people in there who can screenshot it. It would be nice if I could see it though.
 
The feels rating changed color for some reason.

Sneedchat has been arbitrarily shitting itself. And by arbitrarily I don't mean that it just dies for a few minutes for everyone, but only for you and only in one tab. You can have it open in like 5 tabs, and it will shit itself in 3 of them but 2 of them will still work.

For some reason it hangs for a long time on the "Connecting to Sneedchat" and refuses to connect until something ticks right and it may get resolved or not. And again, you can have multiple chat windows open and they won't shit themselves all at once, only some.

My bet is that you have some sort of dark mode browser plugin and it arbitrarily decided that the Feels reaction was too dark and it would blend in with the background so it did some fuckery to make it brighter so it contrasts with the background better.

I wouldn't be surprised if that were the case, beginning of the month and all that.
 
Very weird bug, haven't experienced it before. Site's actually been running pretty good today, but just now I came across the image in this post where, if clicked with mouse 3, leads to the login page, and shows the user as logged out. If closed and dropped back to the first tab, the current page then says something about the current active user having changed, refreshing displays the user as actually still being logged in. Attempting to simply click on the image to see it larger in-page brings this message up.

I concur that this seems to happen with that one particular image and not others on the same page or same session, but also that after mouse 3 opening it in a new tab, I went to give an agree sticker to this post and it said there was a security error. Error was cleared by hitting refresh, but something weird seems to be afoot with that specific pic.

It seems KF no longer parse mp4 uploads correctly, but webm works.
