Feedback Technical Grievances

Are you on Comcast at home? According to the Telegram they've started hijacking the clearnet domains, try another DNS server.
Technically I'm on century link, but I'll try that fix when I get home. Thanks!

Ran into a 503 error a few minutes ago, but it seems to be unrelated to this whole Comcast debacle.

My job has blocked access to the .st domain of Collaborative Data Services

I just suddenly started experiencing issues accessing the .net domain on NordVPN about 10 minutes ago, but the .st domain is working just fine. Not sure what is going on. It is coming up as a DNS failure.

I am mainly a phonefag, and I recently got a new phone. Now whenever I try to make a comment on KF, my phone automatically inserts a bunch of blank reddit spacing (carriage returns) in the post periodically every few seconds. It makes it extremely difficult to make comments because it continuously increases the amount of space in a post when I'm still typing. I'm not sure what would even be causing this, and it doesn't happen on other websites or my old phone. I'm not even sure what to query for it. Does anyone have any ideas?

Is .st being consent accidented at the moment? .net and Tor seem fine tho.

I used to have this happen to me as well. I don't entirely remember what I did to fix it but I think the issue was the keyboard I was using. If on Android try switching from the default one to another one and see if that helps.

On another note, as a fellow phone poster I have been having a periodic issue when using the Brave browser on my phone. Seemingly at random, while browsing KF, it will cause my phones whole system to seize up, occasionally resulting in a hard crash to my lock screen. It was happening on my old phone and now that I have a new one it still happens. It exclusively happens on KF, usually when I'm browsing longer threads but it has rarely happened with shorter threads. Anybody have any ideas what could be doing it? I would like a fix because I prefer Brave over having to use Chrome.

Not really a detriment to the usage of the site, but it's still nonstandard behavior that may as well be cataloged in case it's more problematic than it seems under the hood. The like, quote, reply, and notification icons are fully shaded in all of a sudden, for some reason. Below are some pictures for comparison, one of the normal icons from a tab that was open overnight and one of them all filled up. It also shows up in the post writer, but I don't have a before to compare.

Ok, I'm not crazy, happened to the icons in the top bar as well, the mail and alert icons.

I’m having a similar issue with ProtonVPN, I get page could not be loaded on the .net domain. However, I am able to access with the .st domain.

ProtonVPN and NordVPN use a DNS which continually adds and removes kiwifarms.net from its block lists. I don't know what list it is, but I believe it is open source and some tranny keeps abusing it and nobody does anything about it.

Complain to your providers.

Is there any way to contact them to investigate? Either they would have a system where important URLs get blocks reviewed manually, or there would be nothing stopping said tranny from blocking any website they disagree with, even government ones or ones important to free speech.

The dots that indicate read/unread threads are broken on light themes. On dark themes, the dots on unread threads are colorful and the dots on read threads are dark gray. On light themes, the dots are the same on both read and unread threads.

You're paying them money bro, find the support emails.

I highly reccomend quad9 DNS over https.
They have not yet blocked ANY kiwifarms anything.
Exceot sneed.today, but that was because it was in an IP block considered to be malicious. I just switched to the unfiltered and it worked after that.

Put 9.9.9.9 as your DNS server today!
