Feedback Technical Grievances

It's still doing it. It's actually almost always done it for me.

What's happening is it's actually uploading the file, but not triggering the refresh that causes the menu to add attachments to the post.

I do this.
  1. Have some text in the post
  2. Click "Upload a File"
  3. Choose File (choose the file)
  4. Click "Close"
  5. Click "Save Draft" (the icon of a floppy disk on the right side of the toolbar)
  6. Click "Refresh"

At that point, you should have the uploaded file available to add to the post.

This is with Chrome version 56.0.2924.87 (64-bit)

I think there should be a size limit to posts. People keep abusing the lack of a limit by posting enough wall emoticons that it may crash browsers, or the entire script of The Bee Movie, for example.

I don't know if this is the proper place to say this, but the scroll bar on the right side might be easier to use if the actual slider bar (don't know the proper name of it) is a darker shade of gray. Kind of hard to make out from the almost white background sometimes.

You mean your browser scrollbar? There's no standard way to theme it, you'd have to write corresponding CSS for each mainstream browser. It's better if you just theme it yourself.

also should the "nice meme" rating be playing audio? I'm in Edge and I'm not hearing anything.

On the mobile page, I've noticed the tools menu beside your posts would stay on the page after you selected an option. this makes editing posts a little frustrating since the menu often gets in the way of the post button.

Yeah, this is a huge problem.
There is a workaround though: go into landscape mode.

Interesting, didn't actually realize I could do it from my end. Thanks!

I don't know what you're talking about, because I can log in just fine without being prompted to re-register...

@Null bring back chat notifications or at least bring back ratings notifications
