Doesn't seem appreciably faster for me tbh (not that I'm ungrateful or anything, just a personal observation), but it's good that the upgrades will make shit easier for you to manage. Keep on keeping on.

That's just custom look of the Kino Casino thread. AFAIK the regulars there were writing messages about Andy Warski watching CP on stream and putting it in big, red font to make it more visible. Null argued with them about it (he states that's not accurate, they say it is) and I think he made every post in the thread look like that on purpose.

Same; I assume (hope) you either vet the people you have handling your all your precious equipment or at least don't give traceable info; the last thing we need is for some faceless true believer who hates their job to "take one for the team" by bringing along a powerful magnet or explosive.

Is something wrong with the automatic highlights? Typically these would appear pretty much immediately to me yet now there's i.e. 6 pages in Sam Hyde thread after the feature (including post with 60+ reacts) with zero auto-highlights after this post to give an example.

Auto-highlights have seemed to run pretty slowly for me lately, something fast moving like the USPG2 thread will have like 10 pages of un-highlighted posts for a couple of hours sometimes. Hopefully with the new RAID separating the database and the file system, it will have more free I/O to run those automated jobs.

Page load is always very fast, avatars or attachments can take a good while or several page refresh to display. But whenever they do decide to load videos are fast too. Opening the video attachment in a new tab always seems to work fast.

On the topic of highlight I noticed several times in the past month that if, let's say on a thread with 26 pages and a few posts on page 26, if a single post happens to get a single reaction on page 26 it will be highlighted. Feels pretty amateurish.

Since it's automated, it will adjust the highlight once more reacts are given to posts. I've had posts highlighted and checked back later to see the highlight moved from my post to a more useful highlight. If I had to guess, the automated highlight system runs on a schedule, and will pick the current best post, even if that post only has one or two reactions. If no other posts have reactions, it's the "only option" until more reacts roll in and it can set it to a "better" post.

I can already imagine PPP's screaming of "WOAH BUDDY" at the bee hives apparently causes the bees to go into a complete tard rage. As for the new server equipment, just another step closer to better software. Changes for the forum like multi-user OPs is what I'm really waiting on.
