Feedback Technical Grievances

Can we please stop making these types of posts (especially in the Community Happenings thread) where it shows a picture or clickable video but it's actually a link to a thread? It's misleading and it also messes up where I was in the thread (which is important for things like the US General Politics thread where you have to comb through tons of coal to find gems.) At the very least put all that shit in a spoiler or specify that it's a link and not, in fact, a clickable video or picture.

I add CSS .embed { background-color: hsla(var(--xf-contentAltBg)); } to make these more obvious. Check out the userstyles thread for more info on customizing the site.

you can stack the top panel of the page by pressing "report" in chat and opening chat again from the freshly summoned menubar.

Oh hey, I posted in the Epstein thread it was held for moderator approval but I didn't get a captcha prompt like it said I would in the welcome message. Don't know if it's supposed to be every single post or based on some factors just felt like you should know.
