Feedback Technical Grievances

I think somebody hacked the site. It kept redirecting me to some Twitch chat knockoff called lolcow.tv for about 20 minutes.

I'm accumulating invisible and undismissable alerts at the rate of about one a day. This has been going on for about five days. I've looked through the list of alerts and there's nothing I haven't read, but the count keeps going up.

It's the ghosts of past users trying to contact you, change your avatar to something less Halloween-related and hopefully they should leave you alone.

@Null there's an issue with post ratings- @secret watcher hasn't been able to validate me for hours.
EDIT: Sorry, to be more specific, attempting to post rate (via the XHR or going to the link and hitting confirm) just hangs for about 50-52 seconds. For XHR, error returned is 500, internal server error. Not sure if you're rebuilding indexes on the post ratings table or something like that, otherwise assume something has that locked.

On the latest Tor version I can't seem to give any reactions. It tries process for around half a minute and then gives the "Oops! we ran into some problems ." pop-up.
 
It's pretty much impossible to rate anything. You click it and 90% of the time, it just hangs for a solid two minutes and then comes back with that dumbfuck error message. This is even when everything else is working correctly, which it really isn't, with incessant 5xx shit.

ETA: actually the 5xx comment is unfair, that shit is substantially reduced.

Yeah, the ratings thing seems to be sorted now.
