RPG’s main problem is he’s self-serious and he’s OCD. That’s what caused this whole falling out in June. I guess it really started before that, with the watermark thing (which is a pretty self-serious thing to do). Then, there was the Teddy FEASER thing and he kept arguing with people about it, couldn’t just let it go (OCD). So, I think he’d already lost a lot of respect amongst other ppl in the sector, but it didn’t yet trickle down to the fans/viewers yet and Jaden and the KC and some others still liked him. Then, in June, when the KC I guess made fun of him for singing or making up a stupid song or something and Porsalin made a snarky comment about him or something? A normal person would just take it in the chin and just laugh it off. It’s sort of like how in school, everybody gets a little disrespected or made fun of at some point, it’s how you handle it that determines whether or not it continues. I don’t think he gets that, he didn’t get it then and even now, i think he just sees it like, “I was the victim of an VICIOUS ATTACK and had to defend myself!” I remember watching a stream of him addressing it and to hear him talk, you’d think he was like the victim of an attempted murder by a violent mob or something lol.
His self-seriousness made him unable to put it into perspective and his OCD made him totally unable to let it go, responding to every taunt, every comment and he just kind of spiraled, in free fall and at a certain point, he realized there was no coming back from this, the alog community was never gonna respect or take him seriously again. So, he announced this alog thing wasn’t for him anymore. I figured he’d just log off and go back to whatever he was doing before streaming, forget about all this toxic shit. But his OCD made it impossible for him to let go and him living with his parents doesn’t help matters, because most people in that situation would have no choice but to leave this shit behind and get a real job because they have to somehow find a way to make rent and pay bills.
It’s ironic he and Ultros ended up going to court against each other, in a way, because I actually think they have some issues in common in that they are both dysfunctional rich kids. They are both people whose safety net, I think, ultimately made their problems in this sector that much worse, because most people couldn’t afford to stick around as long as they have, they wouldn’t even have the option to make the decisions they’ve made. But RPG and Ultros do have that option and that’s allowed them to stick around way longer than when it’s past time to move on, way past when it stopped being fun, way past when it became toxic and destructive and unhealthy.
Anyway. I don’t think RPG should be waiting on this possible Cozy channel to solve all his problems. It may not come for a while or it may not come at all. Like I said, most people couldn’t even afford to wait around like this. Time to get a real job!
