That Metal Thread

Murica and heavy/thrash/death, pretty entry level

Hells Headbangers, Nuclear War Now (also has stuff from Iron Bonehead Productions from Germany bc both labels work together closely), 20 Buck Spin, Southern Lord, Holy Mountain Printing are all US based. Bigger European labels like Peaceville or Nuclear Blast usually have their own US store.

I don't know how much shipping from Australia to the US costs (AUS to Germany is for some reason pretty cheap) but there is Direct Merch and Heavy Metal Maniac. Burning Leather is located in Mexico but again, know nothing about shipping costs from Mexico to the USA (Mexico -> Germany is pretty expensive).

Thanks for the suggestions guys, I've picked out a couple shirts for when I get some extra spendin money.

Speaking of shirts... I got real excited when I stumbled upon a site that had a bunch of merch from the more NS side of metal, and they are quite hard to find.

Put a bunch of items in my cart while browsing, but then I saw they had some Bolt Thrower gear. Now, this was obviously too good to be true, so I checked out some reviews, and it turned out to pretty much be a scam site.

Where do yall buy metal tees? I'm very picky and my closet is lacking.
Shows. I like having a souvenir and bands will sell certain unique stuff on tour.

I see Burzum merch in regular life from time to time, and it surprises me a little. Either that one gets a pass or maybe people just don't know.

It's more about how monolithic Burzum is as an influence over the more "atmospheric" (God I hate that epithet, it's atmosphere what makes BM BM) end of the genre, no matter how many vegan soy-latte nature worshipping bands Cascadia barfs on the scene, you still can't ignore Varg.

I've never considered Burzum to be NSBM, for some reason.
Varg is, or at least was ethno nationalist, but I wouldn't say Burzum was.

There's an ocean of difference from Burzums imagery and lyrics to that of GBK or Aryan Triumph for instance.

I've discovered Anal Cunt thanks to Kiwi Farms and I cannot stop listening to them, their songs make my sides go to orbit. :)
Oh and to avoid double posting, I also recommend The Raunchous Brothers.
I'd also recommend Vaginal Jesus if you enjoyed those two, Seth Putnam (Rip) of AxCx also did vocals +lyrics for them and has the same sense of humor though the sole subject of the band is ideal racial relations.

There's two types of people who know about Burzum.

1. People who like Burzum.
2. Concern troll/Woketards who barely have the social courage to speak with their Doordash driver might as less "confront" you.

I soy faced a little during the new Opeth album. Absolutely loved it. Still much more prog rock than the old sound so people expecting a "return to form" to the earlier days are in for a shit ride, but the band sounds absurd and most of the songs clicked with me. Crazy strong year for metal.

Isn't Opeth's lead singer a cunt though?

He could be a White Dude for Harris for all I care, I tend to separate the art from the artist.

He's swedish, so probably.
That doesn't take away from his musical ability though.

@Beardfish
I think I heard a little teaser some months ago, and I think I can remember him growling again?

He's growling again, but the album isn't exactly death metal. There's some great riffs and heavy moments, the first track in particular is crazy, but it's a prog rock album through and through. Funny that his growls are better than his singing voice, which is KIND OF showing his age.
