Man, Wolves in the Throne Room is just so fuckin majestic

The buildup in this one is just so perfect.

GREAT FIRS

FELLED BY THE WIIIIIIIIIIND

*sickest riff imaginable*

The eagle's aerie towering windswept

Sky-lords towering above

Night-born songs descend by moonlight

A rain of jewels Calliope sings

Each one a secret word inscribed in time

Vrildom, Vothana. Your mileage is gonna vary quite a bit depending on how much you like the highly aggressive Brazilian stuff like Ravendark's Monarchal Canticle and Command, or the Bronze power stuff that started coming out of Mexico a few years back. If you're into stuff like Absurd, Malaysia has quite a few good punk influenced NS bands, assuming that counts as "Brown" in your world. Konflict from Sri Lanka might be worth checking out.
Oh shit, yeah I forgot about Vothana. That guy's stuff absolutely rules and he put out so much of it. Honorary Rooftop Korean for sure.
Their singer Eizo Sakamoto also did a bunch of awesome covers of classic anime songs under the "Animetal" project and his solo project did even more cool shit. He also sang on a few anime OPs in the early 00s (mostly for giant robot anime) with a lot of famous anime singers.

Anthem is definitely great stuff, both their 80s and more recent material.

They truly filled the comment section with "Christ Is King" comments. :story:

Even though I am still a big BM fan, most of the bands just come off as pansies, especially since they only exclusively seem to take potshots at Christianity, but wouldn't dare to try it on Islam, Buddhism or Judaism. "Whoa whoa whoa that's too far". That's why Nergal and his lot are now being mocked online, especially by zoomers.

Back on topic, these guys have some pretty catchy tunes.

Not an argument. My point still stands, he hasn't matured past the age of 16, and behaves like a kid who is still mad at his parents for telling him to make his bed and get good grades in school.

Yet he wouldn't dare push his luck with Judaism or Islam. Go all in, or don't do it at all.

And I say this as someone who has grown up listening to Black Metal. It's nice as entertainment, but that's about it.

Full track list of new Behemoth, #2 caught my eye:

01 - The Shadow Elite
02 - Sowing Salt
03 - The Shit ov God
04 - Lvciferaeon
05 - To Drown the Svn in Wine
06 - Nomen Barbarvm
07 - O Venvs, Come!
08 - Avgvr (The Dread Vvltvre)

ha ha

Anyway, I don't care for Behemoth, I hope they get cyberbullied by xians and Satanists alike. And then a Muslim beheads Nergal for not specifically saying he wasn't talking about Allah.

Black metal is the gayest subgenre, full of edgelord fags in make-up etc etc and I agree that they focus too much on Christianity because it's an easier target, but using Behemoth to make this argument is retarded because Nergal has a history of being harassed by the authorities in Poland due to his music.

There are still parts of the world where Christianity can use state power against its critics and Poland is one of the most prolific due to its blasphemy laws and being majority Catholic.

You chose a shit example is all I'm saying.

LOL, Behemoth stopped being a BM band a looooong time ago.

Behemoth is up there with Deicide with them milking the "Christianity Bad" schtick. Besides, they've committed the musical sin of just being bland. Batushka and Mgla both passed Behemoth as the better blasphemous BM bands from Poland.
