Ghost dropped their second single Lachryma

I'm a Ghost enjoyer and melodically it's very nice, similar to Spillways, but lyrically it's probably their weakest track.

Has this band ever had their own sound? This is like even more watered down 80's Alice Cooper.
I heard "Satanized" the other day, and came to this conclusion:
Ghost is wannabe satanic metal for autistic zoomers, who think they're metal heads, and want to be rebellious. As mentioned a few pages back, any band that needs to blaspheme, or mention Satan constantly is a bunch of fucking posers.
I listened to an interview with Kerry King a few years ago, talking about touring with Ghost. He said they were a great bunch of guys, but he just could not get into their music. I can't either.

I don't agree with the "any band that needs to blaspheme, or mention Satan constantly is a bunch of fucking posers" part, I think that's a blatantly absurd opinion personally, but I also don't think Ghost are even a metal band in the first place. It's pop rock for people who think they're too cool to admit to liking pop music.

Is Bradley Hall a good reference to talk about metal? Honest question.
No idea. I don't watch clickbait.
The only person I can think of who may have sacrificed themselves to Satan was Jon Nödtveidt. He was reportedly surrounded by candles and a book written by his own satanic group, but he may of wanted to kill himself regardless of being a satanist.
Such a shame we couldn't lose a talentless loser instead. Must have listened to this a bajillion times.

You're indirectly labeling Slayer, Sarcófago, Deicide, Mayhem, etc. "poser bands" and indirectly calling their fans "posers" as well. You may call them "edgy" but "poser"? That's asinine.
Good call, I should've been a little more specific. The old school bands are certainly exempt from that list.

I find it hard to call Ghost posers when they're doing it on purpose. It'd be sort of like calling Steel Panther a bunch of posers.
Meliora was a good album. It was so good it tricked people into believing all of their albums would be as good.

Yeah I agree with this. Does Ghost take themselves seriously? I understand not enjoying their music, I mean I don't outside their Opus Eponymous and Infestissumam albums. It's fun, similar to Five Finger Death Punch, and I use to hate on them when I was in high school because of posers.

Then again, I still listen to nu and alt metal. I also really like Pensees Nocturnes so clown music is kinda my jam anyway. I also don't really subscribe to people being "posers" for listening to anything specific but I'm trying to be amicable.

I think this is probably Bill Watterson being a gigaboomer and repeating 4th-hand knowledge about Alice Cooper or Ozzy Osbourne, and not his critique of Venom or whatever.

I like the implication that his mom would actually have given him the money if he used it to buy music made by genuine devil-worshippers.

I'm down with the clown.

Legendary Japanese Heavy Metal institution SEIKIMA-II released an EP a couple of days ago. I am a massive fan, so I am happy about new material but apparently no plans for more stuff, at least for now.

Cool, I forgot about this band. I only know of them because of this manga though.

I'm not really an anime fan but I enjoyed the manga and the anime, it was funny.
