Darker Than Black Records specialize in NSBM/RAC and the owner is very reliable.

Hey is it true that metalheads are a bunch of big stupid jerks that hang out at the big stupid jerk club??
Sometimes yeah. It can depend on the subgenre since some have worse fans than others. If a band is seen labeled as "progressive" "technical" or "avant-garde" then their fans are more likely to be a big stupid jerk club. I think metalheads can be that way, but we're not that bad, albeit a little autistic. The people who I have met at shows have been nice guys who like riffs. We're better than punks that's for sure since they bully anyone who doesn't fall in line with the current left wing zeitgeist, whilst we're more likely to make fun of a bands subgenres for being lame like RABM.

Jewtube sent me an emergency vril replenishment in the middle of my workout.

I can't think of punk as a subculture without also thinking about Donny the Punk.

Is there anywhere decent online to buy ns records? I'm not too sure about Darker than Black considering they've got a shitload of bootlegs.
Hass Weg: https://hassweg-prod.com/en/ New Era: https://new-era-productions.nl/ Signal Rex: https://www.signalrex.com/ Wolfspell: https://wolfspell.pl/ Unborn Productions: https://unbornprod.company.site/ Dark Hidden: https://dark-hidden.com/distro/index.php LSS https://www.trueunderground.cba.pl/metalshop/en/3-lower-silesian-stronghold (Dark Fury dudes distro\label) are some good ones. Peste Noire stuff can be bought from his own site https://lmhfrerie.com/fr/

If you're not Eu based I'd check out Klaxon https://klaxon-records.com/

I'm just fuckin' around. I am just uneducated in non-mainstream metal.

I'm a little late to the party but I'm greatly enjoying Venom Inc. Shame Mantas and Abaddon aren't part of it anymore but the Demolition Man remains great.

Dissection was discussed a few pages back and through what I'm sure is pure coincidence, RFI just released a video on them:
One thing he emphasizes about Dissection is their accessibility, which got me thinking about how I first got into them. I was much younger and hadn't really listened to anything heavier than Iron Maiden when I came across the Storm of the Light's Bane album. I remember thinking "This is good, but I'm not quite ready for it yet." So I set it aside, along with Vektor's Terminal Redux and Adramelch's Irae Melanox which I had discovered at around the same time. Years later and these are now some of my favorite albums.

If you like Vektor you should check out Voivod and Nocturnus and if you like Dissection you should check out Necrophobic.

The band he played at the beginning is some classic forgotten Germanic-American thrash:
I've forgotten all that shit too, except Dr Shrinker and the original Disturbed (later known as God Awful, I think).
Really hard to find copies. The fans all died drunk in rural water reservoirs with the tapes in their jean-jacket pockets.
