A friend invited me to a Spiritbox concert later this year. I often drag him to bands that aren't really his thing so fair's fair I suppose.
Nothing enough beer can't fix I hope.
Anyway here's some catchy cheese.

Jag Panzer fucks. No other way to put it. They still play at a very high level live too. Manilla Road has always been my favorite USPM band, but Jag Panzer is probably a close second.

Usually more of a death metal guy but this album has always been a favorite. A selection of its highlights (but the entire album is a highly recommended headfuck of a listen!)
I personally don't really like the earlier records. As far as Sigh is concerned Gallows Gallery it not only their best album but also one of the best Heavy Metal records in general.

Did they do minimal crowd work when you saw them?
Yeah, I don’t remember a ton of crowd interaction, but I saw them on an open stage at about 3:30PM on a Friday. Perfect weather. Everybody was already half drunk and just happy as hell to hear Licensed to Kill and Warfare live. Theyre one of those bands that just does their thing and gets off stage. Easily a top ten set I’ve seen this year.

EDIT: in my advanced age my memory is failing. It was a Thursday. Harder Than Steel also killed.

Is metalcore allowed here? Some people don’t allow it in metal threads.

Legitimately fun live, too, like Arcturus. You get loads of grim metallers in battle jackets trying to frown and look cool before a sax solo makes them giggle. You heard any Meads of Asphodel? Bizarre English black metal by members of KLF and Hawkwind. Pretty off-kilter stuff.
