I've noticed about the furry community that while there are multiple different types of them, there are three groups, in particular, I find awful, if not downright insufferable.
Type 1 (The Stereotypical "Yiff" enthusiast):
- Uncomfortable amounts of fetish art
- "18+ NO MINORS ALLOWED" and then proceeds to draw underage characters
- 90% of their art is stuff people commissioned them
- Content gets repetitive very fast, basically a one-trick pony
- Has basically no personality beyond "Horny"
- Most likely to have a fursuit
- Fursona is most likely an oddly colored canine or a dragon
- Always male (He/Him pronouns if listed)
- Is what most non-furries associate the community with, yet is surprisingly the LEAST bad of the three types
Type 2 (The Tumblrina, aka. the "Twittfur"):
- Pronouns listed in a Twitter profile
- "18+ NO MINORS ALLOWED" yet mainly draws SFW art
- Identifies as LGBT and is VERY open about it, especially if they are trans
- Never shuts up about their political views, to the point where it takes up more of their feed than their art does
- Is only into mainstream and popular things, especially Pokemon, Undertale, and Five Nights at Freddy's
- Their mutuals are just as toxic as they are
- More likely to be found on Twitter or Tumblr than anywhere else
- Blocks people for really petty reasons (if you don't block them first that is)
- Mentally stuck in 2016
Type 3 (The "Cutesy UwU" Furry, aka. The absolute WORST kind):
- More likely to use "They/Them" pronouns than Type 2
- Extremely "cutesy" art style and attitude (if they use UwU speak unironically, that's an IMMEDIATE red flag)
- Makes painfully unfunny jokes with the same 3 or 4 punchlines
- Extremely toxic follower base that worships them like a god
- Likely streams on Twitch (and often streams the most generic shit imaginable)
- An absolute monster behind the scenes
- Has a Discord server with overly strict rules and control-freak mods that will ban you for the slightest demeanor
- Most likely a pedophile
- You're going to want to file a restraining order if you ever meet them
We need to spread this around online my fellow KiwiBrothers and KiwiSisters
