I actually had an experience like that back in '09 on a luxury cruise through the Indian Ocean.

I went to an all inclusive resort and by the second day the all inclusive paid for drinks became alcohol flavored water.

The real bonus was their electronic locks were fucked up, in many Oxidental resorts they have a complimentary liquor tap consisting of 4 large bottles of real not watered down alcohol bolted to the wall.

Well it was bolted to drywall which meant the liquor thieves made many holes in the wall as they procured their goods.
