Used to be they were the big evil publisher, the one that bought up good developers and drove them into the ground with their greed.

Nowadays, there's barely any distinction between EA and the likes of Ubisoft and Activision - at best they've stopped bothering buying up new developers since they all just regurgitate the same 3 games over and over again and see no financial incentive to branch out.

Also, all are plagued by the competency crisis (someone should make a thread about this), not just lacking the ability to make anything truly new and ambitious, but also lacking the ability to maintain the standards of quality (or "quality") of their current cash crop franchises.

Demakes and demasters, insistence on RE engine even if it's clearly not working for some games (MonHun), DEI shit, half arsed shit like the Onimusha revival, baffling monetization (MonHun again) and so on. Normies are enamored with CrapCom, but they are definitely a shit company.

it is, but from a customer support standpoint it's utterly retarded to relay any (non)-action. for one, it fosters witch hunts and thus increases the tickets support has to deal with (everybody loves more work) and as OP shows leads to PR issues one way or another.

that's why the smart move is to simply say "thanks for the report, we'll look into it" and that's the end of it. whatever happens next is between the company and the reported account, even if nothing happens.
it's basic bitch CS stuff, which a company as big as EA should know better.

it's also not angled so technically not a nazi symbol.

doubt anyone still cares about battlefield and sims has been utterly assraped years ago. they're probably coasting on not!fifa money and that's it.
 
For all the shit all the companies in the poll do, Ubisoft is the worst in all of them:
Incompetence? All their modern games are boring as shit and plagued with bugs.
Greedy? Games that release with a base price of $80 and full of day one DLC.
DEI? In all of their games, plus they're banking the entire company on Nigga in Japan: Totally Historically Accurate.

The real tragedy is you could apply the same for all the big publishers. Incompetence, greed, DEI, failing revenues - the whole AAA industry is just one big assembly line where troons are busy shaping turds into various shapes, and then expecting you to pay premium.

Even they know the current model is unsustainable, yet they are too bloated and incompetent to course-correct or create any new, worthwhile IPs. They're just coasting off on past glories and praying their abused, addicted consoomers don't wise up.

I have a little story about Ubisoft. Last Christmas, some relatives gave me a gift card so I can buy games for my PS5. One of the games I got was AC: Mirage. I’m an old school AC fan. I know people think assassin simulator is retarded and boring, but they are faggots.

So, I was in the middle of the game and the point that kept entering my head was “would I still play this game even if it was free?” and after beating the game, I thought “wow, I didn’t pay for this and I still want my money back”

That’s the best way to describe Ubisoft game development. Not even worth being a PSN monthly free game
