Apparently he lost his phone during a move, his account was somehow disabled and money was taken out of his bank account.
I thought it was crazy when a bunch of Gen Z's told me that "nobody uses computers" anymore and they did everything on their phone.

Guess they weren't lying. Holy fuck at having access to your entire business and income directly tied to a little electronic you can lose or get stolen at a moments notice.

Elder Scrolls Youtuber Camelworks had to start a new channel due to his previous Google account being disabled. AdSense has been cut so now he has no income after saving up 11 years to buy a house (he had been making Youtube videos since 2014). Apparently he lost his phone during a move, his account was somehow disabled and money was taken out of his bank account. Despite having over 750,000 subscribers on the channel, Google has not been all to helpful when it comes to recovering his original channel.

Sucks for him but this is also the guy who made that four hour video about the Augur of Dunlain (among other algorithm sloppa) so as far as I'm concerned, he's a cancer and can fuck right off.

For anyone who still has even a sliver of hope for TES6 just a quick reminder that this is what nu Bethesda thinks a sexy cage dancer at a seedy cyberpunk nightclub looks like.

Damn man, George Floyd deserved to fade into obscurity; not to turn into a cage dancer!!! What the fuck is this?
It's incredible how often the "Burgers?" meme comes up nowadays:

Old but essential.

So what are we betting that Bethesda senselessly fucks up on TES 6? My money says the character class system is still gone even though it's supposed to be a fucking RPG. Naturally the writing will be absolute shit as well since they haven't written a good plot line since Oblivion. why do people still give these cunts money again?

a role playing game allows you to designate a ROLE TO PLAY for your character.
we are talking about a company that has enough market data to know that "TRVE ROLE PLAYING MASTERS" are but a minority and therefore they don't make their games for them anymore.
me? i'm a pirate, literally sneaking 100 on the gayish marketing presentation lines.

Yes I am painfully aware that bethesda only makes RPGs for people who are too stupid to comprehend a plot now.

Well I wasn't going to buy Bethesda stuff anyways.
But doubly now.
Absolute evil resides there.

Seriously wondering on whether or not I should be finishing my runs on the ES games at this point. Was planning on finishing up the last few trophies on Skyrim one of these days, get some progress on ESO, work on the OG Oblivion, pick up Oblivion Remastered, etc. Now though, I really don't know if I should.

Just pirate Reblivion or wait a few months for Skyblivion and stop playing ESO, that shit's gay.

Question why were yesteryear shitlibs so much better than the current crop of shit libs? I mean MK judging by his writings on TES: Redguard the biggest shitlib on the planet and yet he managed to make really cool shit yet this generation seems incapable.

Is a mix of many factors but primarily is that shitlibs of the past had to get real life experiences rather than staying terminally online since the internet was still a niche thing, therefore you didnt had the same level of political brainrot that you have today, they were forced to go outside, meet people, travel and so on, that allowed their creativity to remain fresh and many of them worked on these projects for a genuine love of the art and medium so they could work alongside chuds and have a good time.

Now the modern shitlibs have no life experiences. their creativity is stagnant, entirely made of an incestuous mess of other fiction without a rooted grasp or understanding of reality making everything they do feel fanfiction tier and iterative, an incesant consumption of hardcore pornography, and the internet becoming now mainstream with political brainrot taking a strangehold on society, the result is that now you have a bunch of manchildren who's creativity may be worse than that of actual child and many work in these projects not because they love the medium but because they feel like either they have to constantly fight The Badguy™, fix the mistakes of the past by "improving" it with their newfound political "enlightement" or just push their fetishes, they also cannot work in any enviroment that is not an echo chamber, stifling ideas even further.

Also this is not just a problem of them specifically, it happened to everyone its just that is worse on them.

I'm not optimistic.
  • no Adam Adamowicz
  • no Jeremy Soule
  • no Kurt Kuhlmann
Part of me thinks they'll take the out-of-left-field approach and set it in Morrowind because that would make the entire internet clap like retarded seals, with any (justified) skeptics being told "but dude it's, like, Morrowind, lmao." The plot? Naturally, "somehow, Dagoth Ur has returned." Even the zoomers filtered by the MISS MISS MISS of cliff racers flexing on their 15 short blade asses would be immediately on board. Anyone with their finger on the nerd pulse would realize this would be a marketer's dream.

But more likely they save that for TES7 and set it up via Daggerfall 2.0 set in High Rock + Hammerfell. They won't mess much with the core formula. The Empire will still feature prominently, with a forced Stormcloak analogue since the Skyrim Civil War still gets discussed to this day. Like everything else since 2011 for Bethesda, it will just be more Skyrim, but casualized further. I predict:
  • The skill system will be replaced with an MMO triangle of Mage/Thief/Warrior perk trees
  • Reallocating perks will be made a core gameplay element because perks already demand too much decision fatigue for their new audience
  • The writing will be even more caveman tier because instead of sneaking things past Todd, Emil will go out of his way to directly involve him

I don't disagree with this in general but I think bethesda's back has been broken with starfield. Go look at the steam charts for it. You can't even see where their $30 dlc (that was ""free"" if you bought the expensive version at launch) was launched in the player numbers. Similarly there aren't many starfield mods due to increasing bethesda incompetence and trying to monetize mods several times. There isn't even really a unified wiki. If you don't believe me and have a couple hours to kill:

Skyrim 6 isn't going to be a concord or hyenas -tier flop just because of the name alone but it is going to flop compared to what bethesda spends on it and what microsoft is expecting. I think it's going to be their last big AAA release.

I will tell you what though, I've gotten weeks of entertainment from the particianTV videos and streams about fallout76/skyrim/starfield. He's been cagey about doing a TES 6 video but he's going to do it. And boy am I fucking hype for it.

Edit: lol

You forgot the best part: the DLC takes place on Va'Runn planet, which in-lore is this extremely well hidden, out of the way place nobody has ever seen. Forgetting that when you look at the world map it turns out the planet is not that far out of the way from other Settled Systems and Bethesda were too lazy to even put it all the way at the edge of the world map, the random encounters around the DLC area are still filled with fucking space pirates. Why are there random bandit enemies still littering the DLC instead of brand new creatures and factions? My guess is that the game is still using the generic ProcGen events and NPC leveled lists as any other planet in the game in some places, so therefore you just see random bandits sometimes as if you were exploring any other random planet in the vanilla game. I should point out that Outer Worlds did a phenomenal job giving us lore as to why we get the enemies that appear in DLC areas, and in the first DLC(which now that I think about it is kind of similar to Shattered Space, but superior) has an entire new class of generic bandits with their own lore and equipment to show that they're natives to Gorgon. Keep that in mind for TES6, there is zero chance these diversity hires will do a better job as far as attention to detail goes if this big DLC that was supposed to bring players back is so half-assed. Actually, forget attention to detail, writing is going to be even more awful if this DLC is anything to go by. I have never seen such boring story and characters, I didn't know you could make religious extremists having a holy civil war such a snore fest. Let's not kid ourselves, this was probably cut content from the base game, which is even sadder.

And speaking of that stream, good to see that Patrician is still seething over people grilling the game on it's pronouns and other woke shit, he had a meltdown when people called Avowed woke and it looks like he will die angry with a fence up his ass. I should point out that mr. enlightened centrist has a BlueSky account, lmfao

I wouldn’t even call the teams making these games a part of Bethesda anymore, more like they’re all Sweet Baby Inc employees.
It’s so over bros
Worse, they are talentless diversity hires. How many pajeets worked on Soyfield, again?
Actually, let me just pull up my handy dandy chart again:
starfield vs morrowind faction quests.webp

Over a thousand devs, how many of them are even part of Bethesda? How many of these devs are worth a damn and how many of them are the "sandwich ladies" and Emils of the company? Even if you have competent people, there is so much red tape to get anything done that there will never be anything approaching even Skyrim levels of content and writing simply because it might offend someone at HR. Once again, all you need to do is look at the main crew of Starfield with Constellation, who are all the exact same millenial urbanite character from modern day California with a different personality quirk, just like the crew of Saints Row 2022 everybody hated. I fully expect another treehouse club scenario being part of the main quest in TES6, people will be begging for a straightforward chosen one questline from Oblivion in comparison.

If you own the games no shame different teams made those things.
ESO itself though? Nah I wouldn't give them any more money.

Because they weren't in charge of the markets. They had to prove themselves in actual skill to get jobs. Not pointless nepo hires.

Yeah, snagged the Anniversary Edition of Skyrim a while back, and I got the PS3 version of Oblivion a while ago as well. ESO's base game I picked up for pennies a long time ago as well; haven't gabbed the DLC for it yet, and at this point I doubt I ever will.
