At this point I actively don't want TES released. Better to end in the relative high note of Skyrim than further tread down the path of mediocrity

Games are taking such a long time these days that they literally can't meet the hype. elden donut is probably the most mythological game on the planet and it was really good, but it's also tossed aside in favor of Souls 2 these days. I genuinely believe no new game will drop that has the staying power of games like skyrim, dota, fallout new vegas etc. It sounds like a boomer take but life in general has peaked and there's no new things to arrive on the market anymore.

Imagine subbing for this faggot.

In thread, i'm soon replay Oblivion with a modlist. Nicely done at least.
I'm thinking to play Imperial ('cus homeland race) and i'm still doubting about the birthsigns.
The modlist uses Ascencion, which makes Endurance apply retroactive.
I'm leaning into Thief (for Luck). I play so much with Atronach i miss the magicka regen.
Any ideas?

>Relatively high note

Bro just wait for ES6 where any kind of prejudice based on race or religion is considered too taboo because it conflicts with the modern deification of "diversity". Also good luck getting any kind of competent or enjoyable story out of Bethesda's Emil Pagliarulo. The guy who treats story in a single player RPG as meaningless and something the players won't take any notice of.

i am sorry for stopping the daily emil pagliarulo shittening because he is a hack but OSK made a new themed video:
TOTAL CLANKA DEATH, in memorian to camelworks.

https://www.nexusmods.com/morrowind/mods/58489 - Someone made a "Wild Wasteland" style mod for all the Morrowind easter eggs.
1774297332048.png
We've all stumbled across an easter egg or two while playing Morrowind. The falling Wizard outside Seyda Neen being the biggest example. But others are a bit less out there, and can easily be missed.

During development of Pleasure Island (Shameless plug) I decided to add several Easter eggs for the player to find. These would be accompanied by a mysterious sound effect and a textbox. The inspiration to this was from the Fallout New Vegas trait "Wild Wasteland".

Since then, I have decided to use that method in more of my mods, but I haven't touched the vanilla games Easter eggs. Until now.

When you encounter an Easter egg in the form of a scene, a book, or some dialog, the sound will play, alongside the textbox. (Note, dialog easter eggs won't show the box, but the sound will still play.)

Some of the notes and containers with the Easter eggs now also have unique textures.

Not every Easter egg is covered however, this is because they are either implemented in a way that makes them more common than the others like the writting on the Dwemer pipes, or because they are connected to a multi cell dungeon and could conflict with overhauls such as the Pokemon named cells in Arkanthand and Urshalaku Burial.

Made in Memory of Camelworks, who I first learned about these Easter eggs from his videos.

Oh no, the consequences of my own actions!
I wonder if Todd made a last minute deal with the Devil to temporarily shelve TES6 production in favor of Starfield way back in 2016 or whenever.
They were being eyeballed by Microsoft and wanted to increase their own pricetag despite having no actual plan to get the game underway since it was all hands on deck for Starfield at the time.
in a perfect world, maybe it could look like prince of persia's environments or aladdin, maybe it could be fun and have working ships etc, but i don't trust them one bit to do any of that shit.
Hammerfell would likely lean hard into Arabian Nights aesthetic, with lore it should also have a lot of shades of Feudal Japan, though with the modern era we may wind up getting Wakanda instead.

It has been the most highly speculated setting since, much like Fallout 3 with its The Replicated Man quest, has a side quest that is very hard to miss that lays out Hammerfell's Alik'r, the current political situation over there, a hint of the aesthetic, and establishes Hammerfell is still fighting The Thalmor.
going from skyrim, it's also retarded to not choose black marsh after so much random talk about how they fought off the daedra
Its been 200 years since they have done that. No.
or the boring but also reasonable choice of the summerset isles, dealing with the extension of the high elves political shit etc. natural continuation of the civil war plot. most logical sequel area.
The natural continuation of the civil war would be Hammerfell, which is established as having gone independent from The Empire and is actually holding its own against The Thalmor. It is really the only continuation that has direct threads.
fucking sworn all grapevines said tes 6 was summerset over and over until "uh yeah it's hammerfell"
I don't think this ever happened. People have been saying Hammerfell since 2011, Summerset almost never entered the conversation, especially since back then it had already become clear that Bethesda was only interested in tackling human continents going forward.

Hammerfell + High Rock is the current consensus, which, if sailing is included like people speculate, would make sense.

The only way i see that working is being a soft-remake of Daggerfall.
Just Hammerfell or High Rock. But not the Illiac Bay again.
It is fun in Unity version.
