My current telvanni guy

Nice house, is from a mod? i currently moved from the crackshack were you sent that drug mule khajit to the mansion with the dead guy inside, there's a lot of work to do to make it look nice, i gotta need tons of red candles...

Shhh be very quiet, he's sleeping

Nice house, is from a mod?
Mori Mountain State, it's in Balmora near the temple. I use it as an early game house. You can buy it for 2.5k septims, which is cheap for vanilla standards but i use a lot of economy overhauls so it's a fair price. I use it mainly because of the lab and the scripted library which can sort and display your books (there's an addon for tamriel rebuilt books too)

Late game i use the Telvanni Tower, but with the Uvirith Legacy mod, that has also a sorting library and all sort of goodies and a very extensive questline as a proper Telvanni Magister

I would say 2.5k septims is pretty expensive actually
Peak housing like Nerano Manor is 0 septims, only costing a throwdown with a defenseless jobber
I'm very autistic with equipment storage in RPGs, so just stuffing everything unorganized inside Nerano's ass bothers me greatly. And i like to display my treasures and artifacts on shelves too

Speaking of expensive, it costed me two Houses vault raided and several dead ordinators, but i finally made my bullshit shirt

I believe you're thinking of Hlaalo Manor and the corpse/storage orifice of Ralen Hlaalo. I agree with your gripes against it, which is why I also don't use it.
Nerano Manor is a different building in Balmora with nice tables and shelves for displaying, and you can dispose of Nerano's corpse. He's tied to a Redoran and Thieves Guild quest, but the penalty for killing him is negligible. I like to get a Bound Weapon from Ra'virr, use it to obliterate Nerano, and then Mark the house for the rest of my playthrough.

Speaking of Youtube I have been listening to challenge runs of Elder Scrolls lately while working because I can't stand listening to lore summary videos. Of the three I get recommended, the hierarchy of quality is so sharp it's unreal.

JustBackgroundNoise: has a library of primarily Morrowind videos, goes on educational tangents both elder scrolls related and just weird science shit, comes across as dorky and conversational, just all around very comfy listening. (It's pretty rare a video makes me laugh but the TR playthrough where he pretends to be a pre-Morrowind Caius Cosades shouting 'dragon break' to explain why killing someone with a crossbow doesn't fuck up the timeline got me)
Nerbit: decent spread of mostly inoffensive videos, kind of annoying delivery, brings up some game mechanics but ultimately little value aside from the novelty of the run
OSKGaming: annoying faggot with clickbait thumbnails, every video is just Skyrim combat with repetitive commentary and the occasional gay innuendo, absolutely zero higher brain function. Would still be acceptable white noise if he didn't spend hour long videos putting on exaggerated zoomerisms like damn bro this run is so coooooooked, hope his next challenge run is trying to skydive without a parachute irl. That is all.

Ahhh yeah. I always get those two homes mixed up

I don't enjoy killing non combatant NPCs though, which is funny since i always play a telvanni guy. I used command humanoid to get the clerks out of the vault before summoning a bunch of bullshit and wiping the ordinators :story:

I really this guy's channel. He's funny and his scripts are very entertaining. I could sit and watch a 40min video from him without getting bored

... What the hell is "Legacy of the Dragonborn"? Is it some tranny coded slop or something? Someone mentioned it on Discord in a discussion on hoarding in video games and it was such an in joke I was terrified to ask.

It's a mod that's basically a museum that you fill with all the crap you collect during a playthrough, instead of stashing it all in the Breezeholme alchemy room chest. It's kinda satisfying to see it go from empty to an all-in-one Smithsonian.

Im not a monster so after finishing her quest to help her cope with the trauma i locked her in the room instead

I get you, i only been using him as an alchemy storage because im a hoard goblin and i definetely need those 999999999 cliff racer plumes and kwama eggs ev&doe i can just cast a spell. However i decided to decorate it like a sixth house den so i may as well use his corpse as decoration.

There's not many good ES challenge runners beyond JBN, i remember watching joov back in 2020 while working on stuff, but he became a stale fag and he cant into morrowind after getting lost and raped by Snowy Granius.

LotD isn't woke and it provides you with a museum to display thousands of items you can collect in vanilla and modded Skyrim. There's seven or eight quests that start out small and get more involved. It's a DLC-sized mod that gives you a reason to not sell off Daedric artifacts. You get an airship house that can fast travel, too.

about right yea, it's used in a lot of mod collections though because of the extra quests.
although the anniversary edition gives you like three houses as creations that have the same thing you describe, including the item-specific weapon/armor displays.
How the fuck someone dies to Snowy Granius on vanilla? He's a pushover
wrong place/wrong time with shit builds and no potions.
you have to be doing that intentionally because your shit build would have filtered you way before that.

If you're a level 1-3 scrub he can fuck you up pretty good because he's got disintegrate spells and can summon a skeleton. So if you go straight from Seyda Neen to Caius to Arkngthand with like iron armor and an iron sword, he can fuck you up. The most often comparison is with the frost troll during the climb to the greybeards in Skyrim. If you have like any amount of game knowledge or are over like level 5 it's not that big of a deal. Snowy Granius is a classic n00b trap.

This quest mod is relatively simple as quest mods go but the real benefit is that at the end of it you get a portable pocket dimension basically for free, it’s honestly kinda overpowered but it makes inventory management much easier so I’m not complaining. Though I’m someone who easily gets carried away hoarding piles of items, and sometimes I manage to misplace the scales and have to “coc” back into the portable cell to see where I forgot it.

Its also a damn money printer. You get to pop open the donation box at the front, which gets more coins the more displays you have, and once you get the Explorer's Guild formed you can dump everything you don't want in a chest in the player house at the museum to get automatically sold off and then you can pick the money up in a chest, no fast-traveling from city to city to desperately find merchants with enough coin.

One time I stayed in Solstheim while doing all the quests there and kept sending everything back to the museum. When I finally came home and let the loot cart sell everything I had 2.2 million Septims. Too bad you can't do anything with that much money in Skyrim.
