A (mostly*) faithful remaster would be cool assuming you could keep all the features that existed in the original game and not strip them out like the newer games did. I don't even know if you could (easily) recreate a lot of those skills and spell/potion creation in the newer versions of the Bethesda engine.
Mostly I'm thinking of how lazy Bethesda has proven themselves to be with their iterative game design over time. Because of that I just don't think they would ever bother doing real proper engine update remasters or remakes. What would be the problem with remaking Morrowind in Gamebryo+? Granted, I'm basically a retard, but it mostly seems to be implementing a higher level of granularity than post-Morrowind games had, not having to make a system that would have to do that from the ground up. It still exists through having skill leveling, and that leveling still having a noticeable output, whether it's damage, damage mitigation, or craft-ables quality.
What's more retarded, making an 12-hour long video or me inevitably watching that 12-hour long video because it's about Elder Scrolls?Pats new pilgrimage![]()

Yes and yes. It has every part of Daggerfall currently implemented, and the only remaining bugs are exclusive to the Unity version and nowhere near as bad as the original Daggerfall. Is the Daggerfall Unity Remake any good? Did they fix all the horrible, horrible bugs while still retaining fun stuff like climbing?
With the way the forum is behaving lately, yes, it is hard to search threads. It feels like someone asks about Daggerfall Unity every week. Is it that hard to search the thread for "Daggerfall Unity" before posting?
Curious, all my time playing the game and I didn't know Skyrim had a light source limit.Fun fact: ENB + ENB Particle Lights = Finally working past Skyrim's four light limit.View attachment 2558948
Yeah, it's one of the reasons why a lot of lighting mods have flickering issues. The other is usually an incompatible mesh is overriding the lighting mod.Curious, all my time playing the game and I didn't know Skyrim had a light source limit.
