Every time I start playing Tribunal I'm astounded by just how fucking dull it is.
The Goblin Army is my least favorite quest in the entire game, thankfully now I use mods that balance Tribunal and Bloodmoon to be balanced as compared to the rest of the game as opposed to strictly for high-level characters.

Yeah, and I don't even find Bloodmoon particularly good. At least Solstheim is more interesting to look at than a fucking sewer.
Bloodmoon at least had some semblance of choice and some of the optional quests were pretty cool.

Tribunal is literally just here's the world's biggest fucking sewer system with a million goblins in it. Also the goblins hit like trucks. No you can't leave the city because fuck you, you're under magical lockdown. Now go through this other annoying dungeon. The end.

I liked Tribunal and Bloodmoon. I liked that they felt so starkly different to Vvardenfel, even to the point of feeling like a fish out of water; it made the world feel big, the fact that there's such a contrast in setting and culture within parts of the same province. Much more immersive than Oblivion and Skyrim.

Going to Mournhold in Morrowind felt like going to Chicago or New York in real life. Yeah it's weird and fake and everyone is either generic or an asshole and you're restricted in what you can do and honestly it's just a big sewer. That's what a city is.

DOA, if it ever arrives, how much you wanna bet he's just larping as a Morrowboomer when really he's a tranny who found the game from the meme.

Has anyone caught up on ESO? I played it quite a bit a few years ago, but got bored of it. It was fun enough to play, but the stories weren't that interesting.
I’m surprised you think that, i found the quests and lore very fun with the gameplay (especially combat) lacking. Morrowind chapter and Clockwork City were masterpieces, and I feel like they put the lore fans front and foremost. I never remember seeing a “loremaster” in the credits of the mainline games.
They often pull from and expand odd niche references in the lore. Cyrodillic jungle, weird metaphysics, hell there’s even a c0da joke or two. I haven’t played in 3-4 years, never played past Summerset, but i heard the latest expansion is hermaeus mora themed, which is certain to be interesting, and the upcoming expansion focuses on a Daedric Prince that has only been referenced in mainline in game books because they were supposedly erased from existence and history by the other princes. It’s so fucking cool they’re making entire expansions based on one or two lines of really strange lore written decades ago.
I might get back on to play the next expansion if i have the time, but I remember the game being almost unplayable without ESO+s crafting bag

Anyone know if the Vampire Lord ability in Skyrim is worth getting? I was planning on siding with the Dawnguard, but still becoming a Vampire Lord after the main story was over; using the glitch that allows you to be both a VL and werewolf at the same time.

Is VL actually worth getting, though? I've heard that vampires in general have some pretty big downsides, but I've never really tried to run one before; especially since I'm siding with the Dawnguard and love being a werewolf. Anyone know anything?

Not really worth it IMO. You get all the downsides of being a vampire in return for a form that's kind of like the werewolf but with crappy spells. If you're going to have a special form, stick to werewolf.

Being Vanilla Werewolf isn't worth either.
Just stick with human form and put Health, Magicka & Stamina regen enchanted items or armor.

If you want to try mods, Sacosanct is pretty good. It makes being a vampire actually viable.

I deleted my mod list recently, too bloated and buggy to spend days trying to make it mostly stable. I'm going to go ahead a start anew, in the meantime, any mods or even mod lists anyone recommends?
