Oblivion handled it a bit better, in Morrowind you'd just get jumped by one of their assassins while you slept.

Alright I've had my fun. I remembered a year or two ago someone going "If skyrim was in Unreal" and they recreated the starting town. So I thought to myself? Is this thing even real? All we have are a few screenshots to go off. How hard would it be to fake oblivion in unreal and do the same shit? Well the answer is not very hard at all apparently. As this was taken from a fan project from last year. I no longer believe that the remake is real. And if it is. Holy shit they should be ashamed cause this guy did way better than them.

A literal gaming studio, associated with tens of big profile projects and several game portings, leak marketing material on their own website, and it's not real to you.

5 screenshots and a game is considered soulless because it's more detailed than its source material.

Honestly bros, at this point you're just set on prioritizing misery. I'm not gonna buy it day 1 if it's anything but 85% positive and I don't even fanboy for Bethesda, but this shit has been depressing to witness. Is it the 4chan leftovers spilling in? Usually KF has a decent sense of being optimistic about things. I'd personally rather a mediocre remaster than any new dogshit IP about a fantastical teenager, or to join the Silksong-and-friends tier circlejerking. Not even Elden Ring lived half up to its hype of several years. Nothing can sate gamers these days. They could make the best fucking Morrowind remake imaginable and it'd still not be enough.

I genuinely would like to see the original source but it apparently was pulled from reddit. So everything I've seen has been journos picking it up. Claiming its real.
And with the current state of journalism. I honestly believe they'd chomp at the bit.

You're probably right, and its probably real. But I really just want to hold onto my last shred of hope that they wouldn't outsource a game to some random devs whose closest contribution was and then resell all their DLC content day 1 for this game as a deluxe game copy with artwork that has John Oblivion in armor in front of an Oblivion gate. Some part of me wants to believe Bethesda has some spec of respect left for themselves.

I'm not surprised that the retard who was excited for AC Shadows is also excited for a soulless slop remake.
