I played Oblivion for the first time last year, and then tried to play Morrowind. Oblivion is an old game, but I can play it, finish it, just fine. Morrowind I spent some 10 hours going around the world and still having no clue where I need to go to continue (start?) my main quest.

So here's the mod that banned KillerCritic, the guy who reuploaded the mod.

A quick google search didn't turn up much other than a Tumblr account that has absolutely nothing on it except saying they're a dude, as well as a deleted post with a title saying they were banned from a Discord by them that I'm too lazy to find. But considering his pfp looks to be Alastor from Hazbin Hotel, you can probably guess what kind of person he is.

He's also going on a banning spree, in the process banning folks who reuploaded the mod before I even realized someone reuploaded them.

The story i heard was it was Bethesda that got it to happen. I'm sure it was multi fronted but it seems like the idea of not having Oblivion for certain is what really did it.

Probably the same reason that the EU version of the trailer has the 18+ "Contains In Game Purchases (Including Random Items)" sticker. The official "this game has lootboxes" sticker that the EU started requiring companies put on their products by law a few years ago.

They want to monetize this game with lootboxes. I'm absolutely certain someone's going to find a fucking Casino or something in some town that wasn't there before that sells you random chests full of loot for $2.99 a pull.
