Dunmers are the indians of tamriel. Think about it, they worship these demonic Gods, have this oppressive social hierarchy, there where rumors of their aryan(aldmeri) past, can be pretty crafty/clever schemers. No, Dunmers are Indians. Orcs have more nigger vibes in their failure at creating a functioning society.
Not at all, the Dunmer have a pretty flat class system compared to the rest of Tamriel. It's all just focused on what house you are a part of, if one at all.

Yeah everything about Dunmer culture and Morrowinds lore and naming conventions is inspired by a mix of Sumerian and Hindu myth. At least Orcs are pretty damn good smiths, they just can't fucking organize to make their own real nation. Even then, they aren't too uppity and many will either fight honorably or keep to themselves.

Technically Indoril Nerevar was murdered by the Tribunal who were Chimer. The Dunmer became a thing after they pissed off Azura who is the Daedric Prince of of Egotism and Vanity is one of the "nicer" Daedric Princes that the Dunmer worship.
I like Morrowind's take on them as they were more bestial which made them stand out from the main races aka mostly elves and different shades of human. (Bethesda really need to add more obscure races as options based on the province the game takes place in). Seriously we have the Dark Elves, Wood Elves, High Elves, Sea Elves, Snow Elves (barely), Chimer, Sinistral Elves (Red Guards killed them off though there might be a few around like the Snow Elves), Orcs are also Mer, Dwemer (They're somewhere) and Bretons I guess as they have the blood of Mer flowing through them. Honestly Pelinal Whitestrake did are terrible job.
The Daedra aren't Satans, least of all because they aren't rebels against anything. If anything they're Asura (the fact that the Daedra and Aedra are named that way, make the Asura and Daeva inspiration clear), very real Gods that rule over less seemly and "nice" elements of reality and can't be honestly called benevolent. Besides, calling the Daedra "Satans" is buying into the Altmer lie, as the same substance of the Daedra is what created man, being both padomaic in substance, same with Lorkhan.
I think the Imperials are possibly similar most similar to Germans and Italians with Colovians being most similar to Germans during the German Empire era, Heartlanders similar most to Romans and Nibenese being most similar to modern White leftists without the self hatred.
I like the idea that Kagrinac sent the Dwemer back in time when he fucked up the beat on Shor's heart and that it wasn't the first time. They've been stuck in a temporal loop which explains their more advanced tech. Eventually they will strike the right tones and ascend. At least it sounds better than whatever the fuck c0da went on about with Khajit spaceships and sexy Mer androids going back in time.

Dwemer are basically Babylonians that figured out how to make robots. They're only called dwarves because giants thought they were tiny. The Dwemer ghosts in Morrowind don't look any shorter than Bosmer.
