I was searching up if the demake still had the similar limitations as the og considering it's still partly running on the original game engine and I came across this absurdity....

WTF??? :stress:I had no idea it was this bad. :stress: The game doesn't even look near good enough to demand that kind of usage. :stress:
That's just regular UE5 performance, bloodlines 2 is also running on a rather new iteration of UE5 and thst game as well is hogging an extreme amount of resources where even game reviewers are noting it is making their machines chug.

UE5 is a blight on the industry

Could be worth joining the PT team and write some up to include in Cyrodiil.
Don't if you value your sanity. I've watched these people operate for a while and the PT team is run by retarded control freak troons and everything said about the Doomworld community (which has a thread under "Community Watch") holds true there as well.

In short, it's a bunch of morons who mostly just talk shit, half of which is in hidden group chats (aka whining channels where they scheme against each other and whomever they have some petty vendetta against), and don't get a lot accomplished. Yet they keep starting more province projects on top of the ones they can barely manage already.

They'd love if someone went there and wrote some books, though. They have people who sit and write like 50 paragraphs of lore garbage almost nobody reads, and 99% never gets implemented in any form. So, idea guys (who somehow are granted dev roles despite doing fuck all). Books that do get written sit on their website where they manage uploaded files for years before the lazy fuck who is supposed to get them to work in-game finally remembers they exist.

I really need to start a thread on this cesspit of a project and all of the ones related to it, but it's a lot of servers and channels to comb through. MMC is part of the equation and is not any better, a lot of the same nutjobs and losers with yet another hidden shit talk channel, only making mods with "kill all TERFs" cover picture on Nexus (which I think is still not removed; I'd have to check, though).

I wish there was an alternate community for TES where the most important thing is making mods, not how many fucking gay flags you have in your pfp or bio. There is overlap between the freaks of Fallout and Skyrim modding and Morrowind, and it sucks. Unfortunately, I haven't been able to find a single Discord server or anything that isn't tied to Reddit and MMC.

Which is a shame because some of the stuff they write is pretty good veloths gospel and some of the ancillary stuff is ranges from good to hilarious
Are any of the Morrowind expansion mods worth playing? A whole project overseen by trannies doesn't paint a pretty picture for the mods in question. Is it the same case for Tamriel Rebuilt?
All the expansion stuff Ive played is good literally 9.5/10 more of the same highest possible praise only problem is that the old ebonheart stuff is a little twee but its being reworked

Project Tamriel and Tamriel Rebuilt are run mostly by the same people, including the troons. I haven't played either, but all their releases' content look very well made and thoughtout though, and TR's been redoing and planning to redo their older expansions. If you plan to lurk, half of all that you'll find in the PT Discord are arguments between the devs over the dumbest of shit.

I'm just gonna let the court of public opinion give me their favorite options. I just want a reasonably expansive base mod collection for Skyrim I can enjoy on its own and then expand anyway to satisfy my cocaine-esque modding addiction.

Right, I already tried Vortex and Wabbajack, and Vortex fucking sucks even worse than I remember. I've downloaded Gate to Sovngarde and having to use Vortex is mega aids. I'm trying Wabbajack right now and I picked one from the gallery at random and landed on Wunduniik, and I'm already installing this fat ass pack but the more I look at its actual modlist the less I think it's what I want, but I'm gonna let the installer finish today anyway and try it out when it's done just to confirm. I don't want gooner mods or any other lame coomer bullshit either.

If anybody has any recommendations for alternatives to look into, please feel free to glaze your favorites. I'm considering Nordic Souls or the Wabbajack edition of GTS. I really like BFCO and TK dodge but they aren't really necessary, but I gotta snort Precision.

I will take any and all recommendations into account.

EDIT: clarification, typos.

If you're getting hung up on wabbajack and vortex being pieces of shit, you might consider looking into wabbajack unlocked. Not much into skyrim modding so I don't have any zesty modlist recommendations.

Anybody played the Elder Kings mod for Crusaders Kings? I think it looks kinda fun but I couldn't get it to work on my PC.
It's great
I created a line of immortal wizard kings/emperors building on their warrior dynasty founder's accomplishments and ambition for the ruby throne.

It broke its streak with Talos but that's because you have to die to fulfill that condition, making the eight nine.
Coincidentally, he was my strongest ever ruler in that game. Even the proper dragonborn descendant of his couldn't compare, and his one special buff was being a descendant of Reman, which does jackshit beyond letting you light the dragonfires.

Something I don't get is with the Beyond Skyrim teams is why do they insist on making whole damned provinces instead of doing piecemeal like Tamerial Rebuilt? Mega project mods that seem to always come short and it would be easier if they're doing a county or city with the surrounding countryside in detail than the whole damned thing.

At least put more time in projects that are more manageable like Roscrea or Expedition to Atomora.

It's grift, in some form or another. That and laziness. Delusions of grandeur and professionalism? It's a mix of all of that.

If they were 'intelligent' or 'reasonable', they wouldn't be making mods, now would they?

EDIT: typos, clarification.

There's an overarching main quest for BS: Cyrodil so they can't do it piecemeal. It'll probably something super faggy knowing how many fags and trannies work on it. Bruma will have to be redone probably since everyone who did VA work for it don't do Skyrim mod VA work anymore. Sofia's VA is embarrassed of her work in Skyrim.

I made the mistake of using a Wabbajack pack for my Morrowind install and I didn't like the deluge of random bullshit and the weird way it integrated into OpenMW, if I were to use it again it would only be to rapidly install hundreds of graphical upgrades. There were a lot of conflicts and bugs with the crap I installed. As for Vortex, under Settings->Automation there are toggles so it'll automatically install and enable mods for you so all you have to do is click the link on Nexus, that makes it far better to use. Nexus also has mod packs under Collections on their site for premium users now.

For graphics I'd just chose a collection you like that uses Community Shaders and not ENB. The vast majority of my mods are random graphic upgrades. If you're going to go manual, I'd suggest the Cathedral series of mods as some of the biggest upgrades and my favorite weather mod. Vanilla Hair Replacer upgrades the super shitty hair. Skyrim 202X upgrades a ton of the shitty textures.

For combat I like Precision, Valhalla Combat, Sanguine Symphony, and Apocalypse - Magic of Skyrim. Immersive Armor, Immersive Weapons, and Skyrim Immersive Creatures are good for adding variety. My favorite perk overhaul is an obscure one called ACE Combat Skills, which overhauls and differentiates all the different weapon, armor, and magic types and fixes scaling while adding a lot of unintrusive RPG elements, but Ordinator is a far more popular alternative that I find pretty invasive and non lore friendly compared to vanilla. Complete Alchemy and Cooking Overhaul, Thunderchild, Deadly Dragons, and High Level Enemies are some of my other must haves. Overall I'd say most of the best gameplay overhauls come from EnaiSiaion, author of Apocalypse and Ordinator, but be warned that most of them drastically change the game in a way that can be a bit overbearing, especially his racial mods. Frostfall and iNeed are my favorite survival and immersion mods, but they're definitely not for everyone.

For new content I'd recommend Beyond Skyrim: Bruma, Falskaar, Wyrmstooth, Beyond Reach (this one is a real standout), and Darkend. Those are the best ones IMO but there are tons of less developed mods under the Locations - New category on Nexus if you have an exploration itch. Be careful with the 1GB+ ones like Summerset Isles because they'll chug your startup time immensely. For quest mods I highly recommend The Forgotten City, Helgen Reborn, VIGILANT SE, and The Gray Cowl of Nocturnal.

Have fun!

Thank you so much! The entire list you gave me is incredibly comprehensive. As it stands, I've decided to try Nordic Souls and it already has plenty of what you mentioned, so that's good. Additionally, my favorite combat addon (for the literal combat, not animations or anything) is Valhalla Combat too! For quests and stuff, this should be my second time exploring Bruma and my fourth time or so playing VIGILANT. have you tried DAc0da yet?

I'll look into all of these, and most of these do sound familiar. I'm not new to modding Skyrim or anything, but I haven't played in a while so I'm not too familiar with current modding standards.

Let me thank you again!

I haven't but I just went ahead and installed it, that looks awesome. I love all the lore about Numidium and the craziness in C0DA.
I've tried all of VICN's original trilogy several times, VIGILANT was my first really big quest mod and it made me go from passively enjoying Elder Scrolls lore to utterly adoring it. After that, I tried UNSLAAD, and then GLENMORIL. Amusingly, this is basically the wrong intended order... you're supposed to do Glenmoril in the middle, but then again, Glenmoril is still unfinished I believe.

Apparently, DAc0da is actually intended to be a prequel to all the others! But, that's just something I've heard. I haven't played any mod of VICN's I didn't like yet, so I'm really excited to try DAc0da when I get around to it. He made Numidium look really good, didn't he?! It really looks like a brass god and walking contradiction! Based japs. But for today, I just need to confirm 'Nordic Souls' works before I go full crack-addict mod autism and layer even more bullshit on top.

Only retarded niggers use Vortex. Use Mod Organizer. "But the UI looks like it's from 2003!" Shut the fuck up faggot. If you can't handle it go play Fortnite or Roblox or whatever games you turd burglars play.

Community Shaders is made by trannies and steals code from ENB which is made by a Russian autistic dude. Use ENB.
