This is what's gonna happen to redguard sword singing
oh 100%. Sword singing is going to be the next special "epic" main character power because the lowest common denominator expects it now because of Skyrim. They are going to make it (gameplay and story-wise) bland and/or shit compared to the lore. I am completely fine with my character not having a special magic power, please just leave the interesting continent nuke swords alone

though i don't really want to reload my stormcloak save to ask ulfric if he really shouted the high king to death,
Yeah if you ask him he said that he describes he stabbed him on the floor after reeling him away, but It was used as propaganda by both sides later to say he tore him apart to either make him cool and fearsome or a total psycho.

I remember a lot of Ulfric lines because his voice in spanish was funny and i always became a stormcloack because tulius looked like a bitch and the bear armor was Amazing looking.

Also imo the "Ulfric is an Thalmor asset/agent" is often overexaggerated in online discussion.
It's very much a Germany & Lenin situation. They cynically released Ulfric into Skyrim hoping he'd cause trouble. They don't believe in the cause or anything, just that he could possibly advance their
Ok I actually kind of like this idea.
I would find it funny if the Khajiits ended up being the guys who are more or less on the money about the creation of the universe. The silly cat-people who do drugs and talk weird are the guys who have shit most figured out. The fact their biology is determined by the positioning of the moons could more or less be all the proof you need that they're more interwoven with the creation of the world than other races. There's also one other little thing and you can see it in Morrowind.

In Morrowind, one of the stranger pronunciations to modern players would be Sheogorath.
"Sheg-go-rath" versus the more common "Sheo-gor-rath"
Sheogorath himself uses this pronunciation, but phonetically we see it in one other place.
In the Words of Clan Mother Ahnissi, Sheogorath is instead written as:
"Sheggorath, you are the Skooma Cat, for what is crazier than a cat on skooma?"
This version of the creation myth has some of the aedra and daedra have a familial relationship, which would kind of explain why Sheogorath and Azura are having friendly wagers in the first place.

A lot of the expanded lore for the setting found in TES Online could be acceptable, and some of it is intriguing, it's just after a certain point it stops being so; somewhere around the point of them adding a new Daedric god and making Sheogorath into an in-universe meme and not just one in the community is where I'd draw the line. I do wonder if they're going to add every single book and text from TES Online into TES 6 effectively canonising them.

I was feeling schizophrenic so I trawled UESP, read some of the in-game books and have a few thoughts/theories.

I think most people pick the Stormcloaks because their armor looks way cooler, unless you're a Romaboo I suppose.
I imagine most people picked them because they've got 2 things going for them:
1) The Empire are the ones overseeing your execution at the start.
2) Years of stories and media usually typically frame the "rebels" as the good guys by default.

The Stormcloak armour always lost points to me because it's just a blue version of the guard armour you see in all the cities and holds.
The officer armour gets points though, beats the imperial equivalent stylistically.

To be fair, the Stormcloaks weren't the ones who were going to execute you (the player character) for the crime of being in the wrong place at the wrong time and were only stopped because a legendary dragon appeared.

There is a tomb called Yngvild near Dawnstar, where the enemies are all female draugr, female ghosts and a Dunmer mage. You can find the journals of the Dark Elf, where he talks about being an incel and being too high IQ for anyone to understand so he goes to Yngvild. He starts reanimating ancient Nord women's corpses and it heavily implies that he is fucking the draugr. One of the women from Dawnstar that he lusted after is captured by his draugr guards/sex dolls. She accuses him of being a creepy stalker so he kills her. He reanimates her as a ghost and after he touches her, it gives him such a raging hard-on that he makes it his life's goal to build a ghost sex slave harem
Reminds me of my favorite line from Sseth's video: "Morrowind is my fetish buffet."

and the dwemer just fucking zero summed instead of having to deal with altmer bullshit so they have only their retarded cousins to talk to and they don't give a shit about being muh superior race outside very specific racist contexts like their own turf and shieet.
It's not confirmed that they zero-summed. My personal theory is that, in addition to pissing off Azura, they also somehow pissed off Sheogorath and he briefly turned the Numidium into a giant Super Wabbajack. Then, when Kagrenac activated it, it transformed every Dwemer on Nirn into buckets, sweetrolls, and wheels of cheese and scattered them around the world. Imagine being a powerful Dwemer lord, then a minute later, you're a sentient piss bucket in some Orsimer's hovel.

It is one of the most contrived parts of the game and is the biggest millstone around the Empire's neck.
There's only a single reasonable justification from the Imperial point of view in why it happened at all.
You don't hear this dialogue in-game, but Elenwen is seen with Tulius in the prologue and she's there to take custody of all the prisoners.
So they skipped due process and were rushing to execute everybody because the Thalmor were there to pick up Ulfric. They were probably going to have him "escape" custody and continue to wreak havoc, so Tulius needed to kill him now. It does beg the question of why Ulfric wasn't the first one to get beheaded then if they were in a hurry, but one can hardly account for a dragon. Had Alduin not appeared the civil war would've ended right then and there (possibly).

Is a shame that in the final Game the voice is whatever, figthing other humanoids that know different types of the voice and friendly ones helping you by spell crafting by mix and matching words could have been cool, thankfully mods exists but It shouldnt be the case.
The voice should have been just another skill. Imagine creating an open-world rpg with a highly customizable main character, just to force him to use claymores, or something.

"You are the Claymoreborn! You should slay your foes with claymores, not axes!"

Nowadays we got modlists and shit.
I also recommend SimonMagusfor a good vanillaplus experience, Pilgrim in particular adds scrolls of Intervention to the major cities which is a good compromise if you want to do no fast-travel.
Appreciate the tips!
I found[this modlist + demo video from like two weeks ago and I gotta say I'm genuinely impressed at what they're able to do with a 24 year old game. (Iove Skyrim but I'm a Morrowboomer 4 lyfe my n'wahs)

Edit:
Question from someone who's been out of the scene for the a while: I've noticed people are generally more disgruntled with the recent Bethesda games. Is there a reason modders can't unfuck these games like they have with previous releases? Because I remember that was pretty much always Bethesda's shtick is releasing janky/broken games with a ton of content and letting the community fix it.

Since I was talking about missing physics based traps in Morrowind just the other day
Apparently someone has vibecoded modern physics into Morrowind.
I haven't tested it, but could AI be what frees modding from the yoke of the autistic trannies?

Edit to reply to @Vlad the Implier: it's not really true to say people shit on Bethesda more for their broken launches these days, because from everything I've heard, Starfield actually had the least buggy launch of any Bethesda game. It's just the game was shit not in a buggy kind of way, in a 'repetitive slog of soulless procedurally generated content' kind of way that's a lot harder for modders to fix. Not to mention the general contempt they show for free modders, like releasing a patch for a 15 year old game that breaks shit just to push paid mods and no surprise people are less willing to wipe Bethesda's ass for them.
Also, each release has taken them longer to release a construction kit: TESIII shipped with it, TESIV released it the next day as a download, FO3 took 2 months, TESV took 3 months, FO4 took 6 months, Starfield took 9 months. Kinda hard to fix shit when they ask you to wait almost a year for the tools.

In the case of Fallout 76 it's online, so (to my understanding) only cosmetic mods are possible. Starfield was such a stinker that even modders weren't buying the game to make mods to make the game worth buying.

Starfield completely raped the way plugins work so a compatibility patch needs to be made for every single mod to work with every other mod. Nobody likes Starfield to put up with it.
