Nigga that's BS. Yeah, it might be random and uses some weird metric to highlight posts, but I use the fuck out of it when scrolling through threads.
Highlights does have value for longer threads if you're unfamiliar with them, or if you don't expect to do a full reading. I've used it on more than one occasion for it.

It's situational IMO, but there's a reason it's nice to have, especially if the thread tends to explode in page count.

yeah it's hardly flawless, but as an automated thing it's not bad to get the gist of seven thousand pages of "is fat and would not have sex with"
from what I've seen it's a mix of views and doots, more view without doots less highlights, more doots as view the highlight grows

Guess the only option for the chronic dopamine addicts will be to keep a spreadsheet of reactions. As for the sane people.

Why are some people so obsessed with stickers? I find it very freeing that I can inflict my retarded opinions on others and then close the tab, making me impervious to disagreement, criticism, or facts I don't care about. Very based when you think about it.
As with the last stickercaust, a lot of us aren't so much obsessed with the stickers so much as we used them as a way to navigate the site going back to threads with new activity and stuff like that. People can use the site however they want. But in the previous case and this one: removing features to punish the people who aren't actually causing the problems is histrionic bullshit.

Yeah, but using it that way is wrong, according to the Slobberhund.
