We've all done it.
You gave Null a Winner badge for calling someone a retard
You gave Marvin a Feels rating for something you would rate autistic with anyone else

Is it a communal phenomenon? An evolutionary trait, where the weaker ones of the pack show the stronger ones they aren't expendable by sucking up to them?

Why do we, as 21st century humans, still exhibit this action on something as small as a board that was created to discuss the actions of an autistic shemale?

I must be really weird, because I've never done that, infact, I've had this kind of stuff happen to me (with me being in the negative light) so I would NEVER try to do this kind of thing.

Even if this is true, who the fuck cares? The ratings don't matter, and even here on the forum does it honestly matter how many fellow autists rate your "Phil is a potato" joke winner?

Besides, it makes sense to give an established user (like Marvin, Null, Cat, etc) more of a benefit of the doubt than some newb. Info from Marvin is typically reliable, Null owns the site and does a decent job of it, and Cat literally shitposts all day. The upshot being that these folks have a track record, which does (and should) influence how people read their shitposts

There is nothing more socially rewarding than brown nosing a narcissist in a position of authority. A place they often end up. If you have a shit boss and a shit employee the two will form a dynamic duo where the boss never has to feel like a failure. The employee never needs to worry about accountability because the boss will do anything to keep them around boosting their ego.

On the other hand if I have a good boss I make sure I let them know I appreciate their effort and I make sure that when I hate everything at work I remind myself at least I don't have some office space cocksucker for a boss.
