I cannot wait. Especially looking forward to the Earthrise and eclipse pictures. There's also the NASA app for those who don't care about having another app installed on their phone. It also provides a neat real-time 3D view of the mission - which is the main reason I have it installed.

Agreed. Can the rest of you spergs stop proving you know about exposure time and focal length for one minute? I get it because the urge to argue is real but you will not change the conspiracy nuts' minds. It's pointless. Arguing with these retards only clutters up the thread with bad vibes. Let them seethe somewhere else.
 
The astros have reached the "Are we there yet?" portion of the trip back home. I believe they have a full day of rest with no/light mission requirements either today or tomorrow, I'd say they earned it.
 
It's completely pointless trying to argue with the 'spaceflight isn't real' skeptics. They've livestreamed everything with a million cameras, given live telemetry data, a ton of info surrounding the mission's parameters, tech, and hardware, and confirmed it all in unison with other space agencies and private partners. There is quite literally nothing else they can do past dragging the retards up there with them. It's always 'me too stoopid to understand, so me say it not real' as they smugly smile and shit their pants.

Anyways, Reid Wiseman's wife apparently had cancer and died a few years ago, and yesterday they named a particularly bright crater on the moon for her; Carroll Crater. They were all holding each other and it had me tearing up.

Just missed it, and they aren't trying to hit it again until Artemis 4. They got about 4,000 miles away from the moon this time, so close!

I look forward to the day you can scream "There's a man on the moon!" and people won't think you are completely crazy, throughout all of human history that's only been possible a few times :story:

Oh so that's what that was this morning in the replay. That's really sweet.

I didn't know what it was because I had the audio off because the 'communications' people running the stream are actual retards, or pretending to be. I had to mute it when one of them was literally saying 'Oh this is called the service module?' to the guy in charge of Orion. If they're faking it to generate more exposition for the public then so be it but there's still better ways than looking like a moron.

Weak song but the fact that astronauts used Denzel Curry as their alarm clock while hurtling through space is amusing to me.

I remember waking up along with the SpaceX astronauts when they used Black Sabbath's Planet Caravan as a wake-up song aboard Dragon six years ago and I had the stream running in the background.

It's called zodiacal light, caused by sunlight scattering off a ring of dust that surrounds the sun out to a little beyond earth's orbit. It's got a bit of a mystery to it, as it should have been cleared out by gravitational forces millions of years ago, yet it still persists. Looks pretty though.

I don't know what it is about the clips i've watched of this but i've teared up a little bit watching some of them. Such an amazing achievement and a once-in-a-lifetime thing to witness.

I've considered this before posting my reply but if someone's genuinely curious, they could always just ask. Engaging with bad faith conspiracy retards whose only goal is to tell everyone they're sheep always leads to thread derailment and unnecessary arguments.
