Is it just me or do the type of people who own working dogs just the biggest pieces of shit possible? Like okay, there are pitbull breeders and whatever. But that’s largely confined to the ghetto and meth labs. If you live in a middle-class neighborhood, good chance the ‘problem’ dog (you know, the kind always getting out, getting rumors about eating the neighbor’s cat, etc.) is a husky, or perhaps a GSD, Belgian Malinois, or other working breed.
Let me start out by saying that these dog breeds are in no way problematic on their own. But they were bred for very specific purposes, not as companion dogs. And while they can make a good pet, most people would be better off owning a Labrador or a Poodle or a Shih Tzu.
At least, that was the case a few years ago. But now I see people getting Irish Wolfhounds, Australian Cattledogs, fucking BORDER COLLIES. Niggers, these are not dogs that should live in a St. Anne! They need land and exercise and energy! And I never see these people walk these types of dogs, ever. The one time I saw someone walking a husky was when it was a puppy. The guy completely failed at controlling the dog and ended up giving it away (asshole).
Of course, there are people who can take good care of these types of dogs, but it seems the exception rather than the rule.
