At this point I'd suggest shutting down Microsoft permanently.

This OS is fucking worthless. Every single fucking month there's an embarrassingly pathetic issue. They're trying their best to sell $notWindows.
I really like how each update introduces a new bug that fucks up coming back from sleep mode. Sleep mode is a radical new idea that hasn't been around for 30 years, so it makes sense they can't do it correctly yet.

NO SAAR WE ARE SIMPLY REMOVING THE SSD CONTROLLER AS IT IS A WHYRUS YIS

I am right after upgrade from Windows 10 -> Windows 11 Home on one of my office rigs. And I have to say that I have never struggled so fruitlessly to achieve so little by wasting so much time. I can't recall when I struggled with OS upgrade since Windows 95 but this iteration just created some bad memories in my brain. First was the BIOS/UEFI update which had to be done in stages with CPU swap for upgrade to the desired, newly acquired CPU that is supported by this vain OS. After which I stumbled over another threshold with GPU support that now requires DX12 with WDDM 2.0. My old, worn, dusty nVidia 6200 is no longer usable on this OS despite my best effort by installing the drivers for Windows 8.1. I mean the installation gone flawlessly but some Indian shithead wrote Edge and context menu with graphic acceleration or some other shit and it is now blank. Same goes for their shitty MS Edge and Files Explorer that renders windows just fine BUT without ribbon/menu bar on the top.

Why the fuck you people keep installing the Home version all the time? Are you guys braindead? Also a gpu/pc so old it can legally drink and gamble.

I deal with what was installed prior my term. For basic tasks like Word, Outlook and Edging I don't need 1GB of RAM for my GPU. Half of that is still more than I could ask for.

I've updated FanControl and Windows Defender decided to do it's thing again and kill it's driver. However there's one interesting thing to note:

Microsoft has changed the definition of the detection to "VulnerableDriver:WinNT/Winring0.G". Previously it would be detected under a much more threatening name which caused many people to be alarmed about their computers being compromised, but this is much more straightforward and by looking it up people will quickly learn what's the big issue. So, good on ya Microsoft, at least for this one thing.

God I despise windows 11 task manager, I don't understand how they fucked up something that just worked in windows 10 and prior (hell, it was fine in some earlier versions of windows 11 too, now the resource monitor unnecessarily hogs resources for some reason).

Switched to process explorer and its been far less intensive comparably, but I still can't fathom the decision. The idea that they could (and might) do this to the control panel is a more horrifying prospect.
does the win11 file explorer just randomly crash for no reason for anyone else?
I've had explorer crash (and by explorer I mean the whole thing + taskbar reset) maybe once or twice in the entire time I've used windows, unless you used some random debloat script an update might have been likely to fuck it up
