Please explain how the two closest competetors to Windows arn't viable options at all besides the corpos and trannies currently subverting Linux into becoming current day Windows 2.0

Apple: Expensive. Even if their hardware is cheaper now you'd have to replace your fleet to use the OS
Linux: Inconsistent support. Software literally has an expiry date and if the vendor you were using stops updating you have to either stop all updates for the systems or start migrating to a new vendor.

In theory macOS is much better, but most companies would see how much they have to spend and walk away.

No normie will know how to use those or buy/download those.

Even if Windows becomes inoperable Jeetware that crashes every 10 seconds people will still and are still forced to download Windows.

There is a good reason why Windows is a monopoly and this is very bad.

If we are talking about corporate support. I was using CentOS 7 / RHEL 7 at my last place, this distro was released in 2014 and EOL'd in 2024. I had two mATX size machine. One Windows and that never really got used outside of daily meeting on Teams. There are vendors/companies (usually RHEL or RHEL clones) that will support these distros for a long time.
The main reason I've seen for it not being adopted is most IT departments don't how to manage it.

If this was pre-2015 I may have agreed with you. But stuff has changed massively over 10 years. Almost all the normie people I know don't even have a laptop or a desktop, outside of machine provided their employer. Typically they have a smartphone and/or tablet. Those aren't running Windows. They just use whatever comes on the device.

Almost everyone I know that has a desktop or a laptop is a gamer, developer or some sort of tech enthusiast. A lot of them are getting quite fed up having to run debloat/decrapifier scripts, so they are looking at alternatives. There are gamers that have moved off of Windows and onto distros like Bazzite.
 
Why did Macroshit make Hyper-V only available to Win11/10 Pro, Win11/10 Enterprise? Since when did you need to have a job dealing with virtual machines? Aren't virtual machines home stuff?

They are used pretty much everywhere professionally. e.g. I run a Linux VM on my Windows Laptop at work.

Maybe in your location? Because Windows is still the norm for whatever desktops and laptops are left in the place I am living in, I haven't even saw a pc that uses Linux before, the chance of someone using something like Bazzite (another Linux-based rare) is close to nil. Most are Windows PCs, some of them are Apple PCs. That said PCs are rare in normie households these days, although having one can be convenient for typing because mobile keyboards suck elephant dicks.

The home computer is a thing of the past for many normies, especially women. There's a lot of people who never had been on the Web prior to getting a smartphone or tablet. A home computer is a complicated piece of high technology; a gaming console or a smartphone is a readily accessible accessory.

Oops I mistyped, it should be "2k something per PS6".

But you get my point that these definitely aren't cheaper than a PC and are most definitely not replacements for legitimate operating systems like Windows or Linux. In fact a phone is a better pseudo PC than a PS5.

I'm just here to fucking rant and to make a whiny blogpost about windows raping me this past week.

This starts with me just streaming FF7 rebirth to friends over discord. Things are great, despite having a weak GPU I'm able to just stream the game at 720p 30fps with the game on lowish settings. Doesn't bug me, game still looks great, we're all having a fun time. The game crashes and I check AMD software, driver update. Sure, I get it and install it and get back to streaming. Then randomly, out of nowhere. My whole fucking system crashes, no BSOD, no anything. Just poof. Black screen, reboots back to desktop. Obviously, I'm freaked out. But I power through the rest of the game because I just wanna beat the game since I'm at the final chapter and all.

After beating the game, I google shit. Guess what? Told several fucking answers at once so I just decide to say fuck it. Start a convo with brave's AI (i think it's called Leo) The amount of fucking pain and tests I've had to run this whole week really just sour my mood. It tells me to run sfc, dism, chkdsk, download furmark and run an hour long stress test, test my memory 10 times, create regedit commands in the system32 drivers, run DDU to reinstall the driver, edit motherboard settings, everything. EVEN FUCKING REINSTALLING WINDOWS. Guess what? Guess what??? THE FUCKING SYSTEM STILL CRASHES AGAIN AND AGAIN YOU FUCKING FAGGOT JEET CODERS FUCK YOU.

After working my shift, I just want to sit at my desk, eat food, play a game, and go to bed. I don't wanna fucking sit here, ready to lose my security deposit because this machine just wants to shit itself. Everyday I've just been coming home, firing up the chat bot, hoping that one of the menial tasks that Leo puts before me works. The most recent one is rolling back the GPU driver and I'm hoping it just works.

Fuck you windows, you niggers.

There's your problem mate. Windows doesn't auto restart on crash until after bug checking so it's likely a hardware fault. If you don't see anything in event viewer then Windows itself isn't crashing and its something else.
