Things to learn now as to not be left behind when older

I couldn't think of a way to phrase this. Basically, I'd like to avoid being like grandma not knowing how to work the Internet or technology in general. What is something you suggest that people should be paying attention to now, as it will possibly become extremely important later? Or do you think it is inevitable to be left behind as you grow old, that there will always be things you just don't comprehend?
Crypto is one, its something I have little interest in, but I see becoming more common in life.

you can't escape it. I'm young, yet constantly encounter technology that I do not understand - lately it's been this weird way of displaying images in some supermarkets' apps, I suspect it's stolen from instagram (which I do not how to use either) - an image displays and above it a grey bar compromised of smaller bars, the bar progresses with time and after a couple of seconds you get the next image, but you cant swipe to get the next image instantly and you just sit there waiting - what the hell is going on?

If you want a good retirement, you can't count on whatever pension scheme your nation has.
That won't exist when you're old.
Learn how to play the stock market.
I don't mean doing a lot of risky decisions, I mean playing it safe and buying shares that steadily increase in value year after year.
Every month, after paying your bills and allocating a portion of your salary towards necessities, take half of what's left and buy a share or 2.
Personally, I would recommend food, utilities and other things that are used by basically everyone on a daily basis, those are very stable.
However, don't just trust me, do the research yourself before spending money.

Do that for 25 years and you'll have a few millions to live it up and you won't be one of the suckers who will have to work till death.

As cliche as it is to say, AI. You don't need to have a deep understanding of the inner workings or anything, but rather how to use it and how it's used on you.

Nobody is putting the toothpaste back in the tube on this. It absolutely will take over almost everything in the not-so-distant future.

As the saying goes, AI will not replace you, a human operating an AI will replace you.

Learn some fitness and healthy dieting so you dont need to have Manuela or Havier wipe your ass when you're old as shit.

There's probably going to be more products that will do tasks or thinking for you rather than needing to learn something new at that point in time, unless of course there is some kind of social or economic collapse and you have to go medieval. Pick up some shooting range experience so you can pack some heat, grandma. You never know when a trifling whipper snapper will need to meet god.

To tack onto this get into weight lifting while you are young. You don't need to go full roid monkey, but years of training when you are young will pay off when you are older. The increased bone density you develop from lifting weights could save your life when you are an old man.

Staying active, for sure. It's frightening to see the differences between old people who gave up at age 40, and those for whom staying active was just a normal part of their life. Growing old doesn't have to be as scary as a lot of people think it is.
Also, getting fat isn't part of getting old. I'm starting to see people in my own age group say that. Knock it off.

I didn't mean to suggest that dieting meant losing weight, more so to consume foods that contribute to maintaining body function. The nutrition aspect is probably the scariest part in my opinion because the onset of issues tied to a deficiency can lead to having a compromised immune system or incurring an injury. Getting sick or hurt when you're old wont be a fun time.

Just pay attention to the world and what's going on around you. It's a bad bet to assume that you'll always be able to stay 1 step ahead of whatever is going on, but if you just put in the effort to try and keep up with popular trends, economics, and importantly, what scams are currently going on, you'll likely be fairly well informed.

Whenever this discussion gets brought up, I always remember this picture

Pretty self explanatory, but really shows what a sedentary life will do to a mf
