This one's for the boomers out there, what are some the oldest memories you have with technology?

For me it's playing combat with my dad, but to be more inline with my age I remember the Voodoo and OpenGL being the standard for graphics in videogames

Playing WWF WrestleMania for the NES with my Dad. Game sucked but now I play it with my family. Other than that I remember computer lab in 1st grade and playing some old adventure game...no idea what it was.

Hey member Sound Blaster cards or even when you needed a sound card in your PC?
I remember installing a Sound Blaster card in our x386 Gateway 2000 computer (anyone else old enough to remember when Gateway was called that? Or when they were still an American owned company?).

Playing Super Mario Bros and Duck Hunt on the NES in 89-90. I was 5 to 6 years old. Messing around with display computers in department stores in the early 90's. I remember going to Sears with my mom in 1995 and seeing a Virtual Boy back in the video game department. I say video game department because that's all they had there. I was probably one of the few people to actually see a Virtual Boy back then.

I also remember the Sears video game department. I remember they had a Sega Saturn kiosk. I think it was playing Nights. It took me until last year to finally buy one.

Playing that wireframe StarWars game at Kroger. It was the coolest thing ever.
Years later I would work in a Kroger as the morning janitor. The shit I’ve seen

I remember being illiterate and having arrested development when I was forced to work in the mines during the industrial revolution and I ended up going blind via moonshine and nickel poisoning. It was fun times.

Technically I'm an echo Boomer, but I fondly remember the shitty NT 4 machine I could use to run Doom, given to me by my uncle, and my parents had no idea and probably didn't want 6 year old me playing that kind of game.
