Thoughts on making the board public again

So ladies and gentleman, it appears we have been in a dry season as of late in regards to one of our fave tards. It seems hes learned to not post most things publically and that is getting real boring. So the question I lay to you folks is : should we make the board public again in an attempt to jumpstart this moron like a car or hope that eventually he decides to post again? @JSGOTI has told me before that something big was gonna happen but I believe he was getting all his info from @Ravenor who I understand is now in a coma. There will be a few rules changed however if it does go public, things to try and lower weening and those kind of posts where they are talking to Phil and trying to get screencapped, stuff like that. The power is in your hands.

Phil is boring enough now to have a mega thread again. He's done nothing noteworthy since his Kiwifarms Home Invasion Frets saga and assaulting random people in Portland because they had their phone out.

It's just been months of random tattoos, ebegging and smug rat-faced pictures.

If I recall correctly, the reason we privatized the Phil Phorum was because Phil was basically being an attention whore. He would do almost anything to make a board full of people notice him, positive or negative. And it was bordering on him terrorizing civilians and being a public nuisance in order to try and top himself.

So it was for the public good that we made it private. If we make it public again, add a “trial of the public Phil phorum” thread in case Phil starts aggravating the local homeless population again.

That being said, Phil was one of the funniest cows we had. I remember reading AnOminous a-logging the living shit out of Phil and I would burst out laughing in public at my phone, looking crazy trying to hold it in. I have some fond memories of this place. I’d like to see it active again, but not at the expense of the innocent people of the west coast.

I'm torn. One thing about making either this forum public or making a thread on him gives him fuel for his "KeeWee Farms are stalking me" stuff. No idea if this has ever helped his endless ebegging.

He has become somewhat boring but giving him attention can lead to content but is it worth it?

This entire subforum sees less activity than many of the threads in the Rat King subforum. Even then, it's mostly just commenting on old posts. I'd be inclined to say close the subforum down and go back to the megathread, but make it public. If Phil goes nuts again, cool. If not, the thread will die a natural death.

I don't think this big chimpout we were BASICALLY PROMISED is going to happen. I mean, it's been months - either it's not happening, or it already happened. The only exciting event I see on the horizon is about six months down the line when he has to either pretend he had SRS or invent an excuse why he didn't.

I'm for opening it again on a trial period to see if it does anything. My only concern is that it will expose the few farmers that are in contact with him.

Why don't we make a new public megathread in ratkings like we just started watching him, but still leave the subforum private.

New OP with updated information summarizing Phil to date with links to the archived stuff for people to read. Hell, I'LL get drunk and do it myself if needs be, although there's plenty other people here who know Phil's history better than I.

He was supposed to be kicked out and lose his apartment by now, hasn't happened. Torin was supposed to have left and moved on to another sad sack to leach off of, hasn't happened. He's not going to get his dick chopped off. Literally nothing exciting unless he chimps out for random reasons and maybe he's realized being an attention whore is hard work. ()

You could say this about any subforum though. "just make it a mega thread they suck and are boring anyway". I know a lot of new members don't remember the drought of information for Chris but these same complaints came up every time. Or even the draught of information on Phil for years before he became active again. These things come in waves. Should we have made the entire Deagle Nation sub one megathread after Jace went dark for a couple months? Or Chris for the year+ he was totally inactive?

Phil is in a place of uncomfortable complacency where he has a few people talking to him on Facebook messenger and a violent drunk in the other room and the rest of the world hates him.. He currently has no reason to publicly sperg because he's able to justify his existence since no one can see evidence of his bad behaviors. Making things public would be a good test to see what happens because what's the worst that happens? He continues to stop posting things publicly and more users here will be able to laugh at his past antics?
