Hey, I've got an initial draft for a Jirard "The Completionist" Khalil thread . Most of it's covering shit about the Open Hand/Indieland charity scam, since that's been big in gaming news for the past week. But to give a brief rundown of what's going on with him lately,
Earlier this month, an pair of expose videos were released by the Ozzy Speedrunner Karl Jobst and Canadian ArchLinux addict Mutahar "SomeOrdinaryGamers" Anas.

In these videos, the duo go over the tax filings of the Open Hand Foundation, revealing that despite raising over $600,000 for charity over the past 5 years, the Open Hand Foundation paid out nothing to its listed beneficiary, UCSF. In fact, for several years now the money seems to have been sitting in the bank account doing nothing, sans $74,266 of expenses spent over the course of 5 years.
Note that these tax returns show that in addition to the ~$600k that Indieland has raised for the Foundation, Open Hand has raised an additional $100k from various charities prior to Indieland starting up, bringing things up to $780,915 prior to the questionable expenses that pop up each year.

In an interesting turn of events, Jirard or one of his siblings at Open Hand attempted to file a privacy complaint on Karl's Youtube in an attempt to silence the controversy. Clearly the Khalil family is unfamiliar with the Streisand Effect.
I think there's enough content in this recent controversy to warrant opening a Lolcow thread on Jirard, since I highly doubt we've reached the end of this controversy, nor do I see Jirard handing the controversy well given how he floundered in the discord call with Muta and Karl.
