Got this video recomended, a new movie with the four lads.

however this one still has a special place in my heart, as silly as it was:
I thought I watched this one but the one I remember the most when young was the Man in the Iron Mask. Which was great

It looks book accurate, I don't see any race/gender swapping, and didn't appear to have a political message. And it's got Eva Green and Vincent Cassel, I'm into it so far.

Alexandre Dumas is basically a national hero and the French don't tolerate historic cultural destruction the way Americans do (just current rape and destruction). So it likely won't be woke. In addition to that, Dumas was himself a PoC. He was the son of one of France's most famous generals during Napoleon's reign, Thomas-Alexandre Dumas, the son of a Haitian slave and a French nobleman. It likely wouldn't go over well for white studios to change the story of a black man.

At least McGann didn't gave to Don that red wig when he was in da Beeb'a Musketeers series from ~10 ? Years ago

My personal favorite has to be '73
