The difference is in endpoint vs at-home software. McAfee and Symantec (Norton AV) have a decent portion of the enterprise market, and that software actually tends to work. The at-home software is a gimmick, essentially meant to sell to elderly people. It's gotten so bad that Norton AV includes a crypto-miner lmfao. These legacy antivirus companies are starting to fall off badly thanks to their cloud-based competitors like crowdstrike, and virtualization. So at this point their reliance on the home-based market is starting to become more important to an extent, and instead of looking to optimize the software, they're just filling it further with useless trash.

Meanwhile, the public narrative of the so-called "Red Scare" has largely been shaped by famous showbiz commies and fellow travelers like Arthur Miller, who were mad about their buddies getting exposed. That Miller's "The Crucible" is still used in school to teach kids about the "Red Scare" is ridiculous once you realize that it's using false accusations (of witchcraft) as a metaphor for accusations that have been proven many times over to be true (the Hollywood Eight were registered members of the Communist Party and were using their positions in Hollywood to spread communist propaganda). Hell, Arthur Miller himself REFUSED to rewrite movie scripts to show communists as villains or have "pro-America" messages.

I wouldn't be surprised if we find out something rather bad one day and Miracle is the victim of it. From what I've seen of the episodes I watched her family kicked her out, she crashed her car trying to get to work, they got rid of her office to give Luke a place to sleep, etc. Like you said she's just the punching bag and her normal life sounds rather bad as well, especially that her parent's shunned her around the time she started working for Tim. Britne is insane from what I can see. One day when Ben didn't show up for work, because he was at some code camp, she had a mental breakdown and thought he was dead. My best guess is she had some kind of traumatic past and is now clinging onto anyone who will take her in for dear life because she's got nothing. In the Christmas episode where I got a lot of the shots she gave Lyd's a bunch of gifts, most of which belonged to her grandmother which was odd.

That's pretty fucked if you had to work that hard to cancel. The only reason why I subscribed was I really wanted to see the after show with Eliza Blue which was long as she told her story about being trafficked.

This was before Tim redid his site so I am not sure if things changed but he had multiple ways you could subscribe.

I had to threaten to file a report with the Consumer Financial Protection Bureau, which had teeth and they quickly cancelled my service.


I just logged on to my old account their website is still a shit show.
