Tim Pool - 'journalist' who claims to be a sensible centrist & sucks Sargon of Akkad's wiener; Afraid of the Milkshake ANTIFAs

  • 🐕 I am attempting to get the site runnning as fast as possible. If you are experiencing slow page load times, please report it.
dear timothy,

consensus here is that you need to take off the beanie. own the bald. be proud.

look at Vin Diesel, Joe Rogan, etc. age gracefully. men (like Trump) who are ashamed of the bald are as phony as the pseudo-feminists with faces full of botox who talk about "strong women" (hello ms pelosi).

if you're "strong"-- how about you stop doing that shit that makes you look ridiculous.

if you're speaking truth to power, show some guts while doing it.

the beanie nearly eclipses everything you say: "what is he so scared of"--becomes the question.

take off the beanie, shave the head, do something with the kiddie-beard. you're in your 30s now, grow up.

show em you ain't scared.

love, dad.

The biggest problem I have with Tim is that he will occasionally make good points but he always hedges. I mean I get why he does it but it bothers me. He had Jack and Jack's Peg-Queen against the ropes and he meekly backed off. Again, I get why he did it but the action shows that if he gets really big he will become establishment and be just another talking head.

Also Tim does not have a head/face combo for being bald. He looks kind of creepy without the beanie.

Tim went to r/KotakuInAction of all places to drum up support
Even they are mocking him haha

Edit: Tim is being completely overreactive about his 'brand'. If you go over to his subverse media website there have barely been any updates to the webpage. There's an average of 2-3 new articles a year. Yeah Tim, that's not that big of a brand you got there. You're claim of trying to make it grow doesn't appear to be true.

To summarize and paraphrase my post in the Rekieta thread: https://kiwifarms.net/threads/nicholas-robert-rekieta-rekieta-law-nickrekieta.53871/post-4577487

Never heard of Tim Pool before now. Studio FOW probably never did either and took this as a random internet guy hitting them up telling them to change their game's name so they just went "lolno get a lawyer", and now he's just assmad and stirring up outrage to gain publicity which seems to be his big thing anyway, publicizing on outrage and controversy.

You get more hits for Tim Pool than you do for his Subverse "brand" obviously in all this time he hasn't bothered to market his brand. He's marketed himself more. It's rather easy to see with just a simple search online.

Classical Liberalism isn't Leftism, though. It's the precursor to Libertarianism. And how are Rubin and Benjamin not classical liberals? They've both disavowed Leftism and are both in opposition to the Left and authoritarianism in general and have both moved radically to the liberal, minimal government side of the spectrum.

I did't mean to equate classical liberals and leftists, but I had Soygon, Rubin ("Classical Liberals") and Tim Pool ("Leftist") together hence I used both terms.

Also lol there's something wrong with you if you think Rubin or Sargon are "classical liberals". They're both right wing, especially Sargon.

opposition to the Left and authoritarianism

Rubin just recently advocated for non-anonymous twitter to "improve discourse", Sargon ran a petition to stop/defund Social justice in schools or something idiotic like that. Neither of these seem anti authoritarian to me. It's almost like they both only cry free speech when it benefits when, if it's something they don't like it's ok to censor it.

Here's his trademark registration if anyone was curious:

726926

I eagerly await any potential lawsuits.

His Patreon for it is only making $9 a month.
I really don't want to take up for the guy, but after the last Patreon shit storm he asked everyone to start donating directly through paypal. I think he setup a way to make recurring paypal donations on his website.

If gets he out of the house and starts covering stuff with that fancy mobile setup he bought, I'll start watching videos again.

Most of the videos I've seen about this, in the comments, Tim fans seem to mention studioFOW being previously kicked off of Patreon months ago (which did happen) and that Tim Pool reached out to them for comment but they refused and things went sour at some point. The claim is that studioFOW changed the name of their game to Subverse on purpose to fuck with Tim but i can't get anyone to cough up sources or proof. Others claim that the interview actually happened but, again, no proof. Does anyone have information about this or is this completely invented?

In the vid Tim made about having to retain a lawyer, he briefly speculated that maybe that was the case. Tim fans are probably took that as fact and are running with it.

There's a subverse.org site for a interactive narrating consulting person for video games who's been around since 2002. I don't see Joshua Rubin complaining about others using his brand name. He's helped with some major games/ companies/ IP's too.

I have to say, it does take balls to look at the internet's collective desire for titties and say "you know, I think will stand in front of that freight train and yell at it to stop, that will work out well for me".

It takes a serious lack of brains too, but still, ballsy move.

I agree with a lot of the stuff he says, but fucking hell does he love to take something that could be summed up in 3 minutes and stretch it to 15. And I get it, he states a point then backs it up with several sources. That's good journalism. But entertaining? Not so much.

Jesus Christ, Tim Pool is apparently claiming that he invented the word "Subverse" now and borderline committed perjury by stating that his brand distributes video games so there can be a trading conflict between him and Studio FOW. I never even heard of him until now and I'm not surprised he has his own thread if he's throwing a fit over a porn game being more popular than his dead-in-the-water "brand". I think this place is gonna get more active after a lawsuit.

I think he editorializes too much, and that has hurt him. He used to be able to stroll up to just about anyone and talk to them, (and since he's young, mixed-race and relatively unknown, people would just open up and say what was really on their minds.) but now based on his interjection of his own opinion, the left has decided that he's an enemy and the right has decided he's a friend, so it seems like all he does anymore is give a platform to right-wing views.

I will say that he's had moments that were awesome reporting, such as when he cornered a left-wing organizer and asked him how he's okay with decrying the right for tolerating violent racists in their ranks while at the same time directly benefiting from ANTIFAs violence in his own. The guy had nothing to say and it was a moment that you're not going to see in regular media these days.
He makes very interesting points

Is he going to sue the hiphop artist who's been using the name Subverse since at least 2012? Pretty sure he would have a strong case than Tim here. There's also a Subverse from Canada who's been around since 1984

By the way, address for his trademake form is up on public record. Nice looking place, does he live with his brother? They really need to something with their lawn though. I'd post it, but last time I did that mods here claimed I posted fake dox so someone else can do it. Just go to just USPTO. gov page and type in "subverse". He'll be the only active one there.

If it wasn't in New Jersey I wouldn't mind living there, it's a nice looking place. (Google says 148 but the mailbox says 149)

Was bought for $300,000 on 10/29/18. I remember hearing Tim came from money, I just find it funny to hear him repeatedly complain about not having a lot of money during his porn game video when he's just bought a $300,000 house with his internet NEETbux and is likely still in much better financial shape than almost all of the paypigs he's riding off of.

If that's the case can we expect him to file litigation against Voat for using the word "subverse" to describe their equivalent to subreddits?

If he actually finds the spine to sue Studio FOW and the judge tosses him one hail mary of a bone to retroactively protect his "brand", he might just have to do that. From what I'm reading though, most the muscle Tim has is his autistic fanbase. He himself is a fence sitter out of potential fear of antagonizing himself to someone and backs down easy. So sadly, it looks like my prophecy of a legal carnival is unlikely.

I like Pool, but yeah he seems to act like a bit of a 'tard at times. He makes decent points on a lot of things and how lefties/liberals should just stop caring about this deplatofrming shit. He thinks Shaprio is a disenfranchised liberal though, which I laugh at.
