He has stated that his content and his podcast are intended for actual fence-sitters and his narrative and presentation is presented to move people to a point that they question things and do their own research regarding current events rather than falling into either echo chamber the legacy media presents.

Much of his behavior points to a Libertarian political position that amounts to "Government piss off". Basically Ron Paul Republicanism, in that the US Constitution and Bill of Rights are what should guide government reaction.

And to be honest, he's right.
