Contrary to popular belief, youtube pays well. When you can double dip on the same people, why not? Plus its a way to advertise his cult to his followers so when he eventually opens up Timtowne they will all come running.
 
Cast Castle Update

Miracle's car wouldn't start, the car Tim's sister sold to her is a lemon. Who would have guessed the stripper sister of a grifter would be untrustworthy. They have a bit of Miracle's and Brett's show "Pop Culture Crisis" in this episode and it's about as bad as you think it would be. Miracle goes searching for the sushi Tim's brother made the day before, their fridge is filled with take out food and store bought sushi. She finds the one they made and I guess it's ok if you like logs?

Most cooking is pretty easy if you can follow directions, but generally simpler things where presentation matters are a little harder as you can't easily fix it like with a chili.

About 9 months ago when they got the new place. It's made by Tim's brother and is an attempt to diversify shows using his compound of retards. Miracle and Bret make a show called "Pop Culture Crisis" and Hannah Claire and Sean make something called "Tales From the Inverted World". I haven't seen either and really the only reason I watch Cast Castle is because sometimes someone does something retarded and it's funny.

I listened to the first few episodes of Tales from the inverted World. It was poorly produced (shit audio quality) and the storytelling was an incoherent mess. Pop Culture Crisis seems like a failed launch. They can barely break 500 views on a few vids, most get around 250.

That doesn't surprise me. Tim is not a good CEO, or even a boss for that matter as his thing is to just let people make shit and hope it works out, which is fine if you're a website like Youtube or Newgrounds where random people can contribute, but not if you're trying to make a brand network. You don't have to micromanage either, but you should really have time where you look at trial episodes and pilots and give input and workshop what can be done better to improve the content.

I don't think Tim is good at really consulting for content either, as watching him and Carter talk about music always sounds confusing, and not because it's technical but because it's a lot of spitballing where Tim has an idea he describes vaguely and expects the other guy to do. Saying something like "we need a gong but not a gong like a gonging sound like a violin going e-ee-e-ee" is not helpful direction it's just being an idea guy and idea guys are a dime a dozen these days.

If advertisers really pull away from Tim I dont see how he can keep trying shitty shows and music. A subscription is not a reliable source of income and he has around twelve full time employees now.
