The stupid thing is, it took me less than 2 minutes to find the grant (National Review does a good job of linking primary sources), 15 minutes to speed read over the grant, a few seconds to notice their equity statement relied on an EO and to find that EO, about 5 mins to read the EO. So, less than 30m total.

But I believe this is actually Tim looking to do stand up comedy in the future and he's trying to hone his skills and his act for he wishes to ape his great idol, Joe Rogan. He's mentioned before that he wants to have beanie prayer gathering at his compound*.

*Compound, which is actually just an old woodworking business according to google maps.

That's the worst job for Tim. The audience is drunk and irritable in old standup. On Youtube, people just don't watch. Also, I've never seen Tim crack a joke, which is why his girlfriend has no interest in him.

Tim's takes on the national guard situation are stupid.

For starters, Tim, you can't just say "Hey that sounds like communism" and leave it for us to fill in the blanks, that is not how argumentation works. You need to offer some proof that communism is not a desirable outcome.

Secondly, Tim says that the reason there are no teachers in school is that teachers are not paid enough money, then talks about going to a private school. Well, it was nice that your parents got to afford that, Tim, but what about the rest of us?

Then Tim goes off and says that the schools should have shut down if there was a teacher shortage before allowing the National Guard to step in and serve in these roles. Again, this is very easy for him to say as someone who has no children. People depend on schools to serve as daycare while they are at work. At their jobs, jobs they have to work at to spend money on your stupid subscription. We don't all get to sit at home filming ourselves skateboarding, Tim.

American teachers are the highest paid teachers (relative for PPP) in the Developed world. And Teachers usually start at the Median Salary for their community and end up in the upper income quartile for the communities they serve.

That and its been studied in the Discipline of education....money doesn't influence teacher performance (Its why Private Schools pay their teachers significantly less as a rule)

It gets a bit more nuanced when you break it down by grade level.

Where we prioritize teacher pay is very different than where other countries prioritize teacher pay. And then you have the finish model which focuses more on schools as portals for Social Services

Oh and Private Schools charge less PER STUDENT and have less administrative cost PER STUDENT then public schools

This is something more people need to understand. I hate how people bemoan that teachers are so under paid and so under privileged when they're some of the most useless and over indulged members of society. As a whole the current school system is a shithole and hasn't kept up with technology or the real world in any meaningful way and just fails at every metric to engage children in actual education and a love of learning. Though god forbid you ever talk to anyone and mention that you don't think teachers are some gift from god, because they'll go full NPC mode and vomit all the bullshit they were fed about those mediocre fuckwits that are mostly there to stroke their own ego at the expense of the children they're teaching.

Ok, that's enough sperging for me for now.

I know Tim's just saying it's to keep up appearances of being a centrist, but why are people so afraid of accelrationism? Sure, it's not always the best tactic, but it's a valid one.
